They made up a number of job postings online for the same door-to-door sales job. It became clear after 5 minutes into the interview that the job I had applied for did not exist.

The hiring manager asked one or two opening questions and didn't seem to listen to the responses before going through a description of the day to day tasks. He was not at all specific but it was clear the job would be commission based without any benefits.

Do not fall for such a scam, and if you do interview, be stern and stand your ground. These people will try to manipulate you through the entire interview process.

THIS COMPANY IS FALSE!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! STAY AWAY!!!

They promised how much you COULD make starting out and quick promotions to manager level in a short period of time. First interview was brief about 10-15 minutes long. Second interview was about 1 hour follow by a questionnaire then waited in the lobby until the hiring manager is ready to review. Third interview was outside of the building for about 15-20 minutes to wrap up the hiring process.

This company is a SCAM from the start. They advertise in the job post as a salary based sales position but it's ONLY commission based. I got an interview for the position as a Customer Service/ Sales Representative. I wasted 4 hours of my time driving to these 2 rounds of lame interviews to find out they straight up lied to my face. They know nothing about me or cared about my background but only want to quickly train me to be a manager after 6 to 8 weeks time. When I asked about my compensation they talked in circles and provided a sample break down of the "commission pay" NOT salary pay. I then asked is this a salary based with commission? They said "YES" its on a W-2 salary pay, the average rep here make about $53k to $55k depending on experience. Upon "JOB"offer, I was told to bring 2 forms of ID on the day of orientation and expect something in the e-mail. I was expecting an offer letter like regular employment offers. I never received anything....The day of orientation they confirmed it's a "DOOR TO DOOR" sales and it's "COMMISSION" based. Come to our office in "BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL" attire but we will be in a polo knocking on doors. This is not anything different than dressing in a Tuxedo for an interview that requires you to do janitorial work (scrubbing toilets). If anyone thinks you're good at lying you don't know what you've discovered. Professional liars at the extreme.

STOP lying to people. You're wasting their value time and gas money coming to these lame interviews. I'm not sure how this company can still conduct business when they lie about everything to people. Be honest about the pay and job responsibilities in the job post and interview! This company need serious investigations.

3 step interview process where they first get a feel for your character and why you applied, second they have you come in at 7 am the day after your first interview where they ask some questions and give you a job description and pretty much avoid any question that you have about the job, then you're given a questionnaire about the second interview to see how much you learned and the third part of the interview they ask "why you" and then they tell you whether or not you got the job

This is a total scam. I honestly do not understand how it is legal. The job description they post is completely different then what they are actually hiring for. First red flag: they respond too quickly and too enthusiastically. I submitted an application at about 9pm, received two email responses and a phone call before 8 am the following day. In the email they expressed how excited they were about my resume and how they thought i'd be a perfect fit and it was a bit over the top. So I took a phone call from them the following day and the HR rep i talked to asked me a few questions about why I was leaving my job, have I been looking for work long, and what my salary requirements were etc. I mentioned something about not looking for a specific salary and the girl I was talking to made a big show of emphasizing that I would be making a salary of between 45k-50k and kept repeating it. Throughout the entire conversation she kept name dropping the companies they worked with as if to make them seem like a major marketing firm. In actuality this is not a customer service position, it is not a salaried position. It is a door to door sales position based entirely on commission. Another red flag: in my initial phone "interview" they stressed that I needed to interview on monday because they were wrapping up interviews that day. However, after finding out more about the company I decided to call and cancel my interview. The HR rep tried to reschedule my interview for later that week. If interviews were finished on Monday how would they schedule me for another day? She kept mentioning how my qualifications were such a great fit but I've literally never done sales in my life nor am I interested in doing so. When I called to cancel my appointment I stated that I just didn't think it was a good fit and the girl I spoke to got immediately defensive and even asked if I had read the reviews on Glassdoor and that was why I didn't want to interview. So obviously they are aware that people are on to their scam yet keep doing it. HR rep kept repeating how she'd "hate to have me miss out on a great opportunity based on unfounded reviews" yeah no. basically just side stepped a MAJOR SCAM

I was definitely skeptical going into this interview but the first round was clear and the hiring manager put the business structure into perspective for me. The first round interview wasn't even so much about employment, it actually just gave me the opportunity to come in and learn more about the position and the company and ask any questions I had. I didn't feel any pressure to make a decision, it was just very informative and a chance to see if I would be a good fit. I was invited back for the second round interview and will be going tomorrow morning. I'm excited to see how everything will pan out. So far I see the position as a challenge and that is what is intriguing me the most.

There were a lot of people being interviewed here, and since this was my first professional interview, I didn't realize this was a red-flag. The office was very small and they told me they were in the middle of moving to a new office. Everyone was in a suit and tie and there was sports decorations everywhere.

The first interview was very short and simple trying to get to know you. I talked about how I was interested in learning about marketing and market research, but the manager didn't mention the fact that the position had nothing to do with marketing.

During the second interview someone took me downstairs to get coffee. It was a little dewy outside so the manager took me to the Denny's down the road. This guy pretty much outlined the whole company to me. He started by showing me the levels of positions, highlighting how "rapidly" one can be promoted. He also told me exactly what everyone at the company did: sell Padres tickets. It was a good marketing strategy selling discount tickets and coupons, but the position itself was being glorified salesperson. The position was for a "marketing associate", but there was definitely no marketing involved in that office whatsoever. To make it worse, the position was at least 9 hr/day, 5 days/week, completely commission based. Completely. The guy took me back to the office and gave me a questionnaire that was a test of everything he told me. It was literally a quiz that had questions from what the interviewer's name was to what every level in the company was.

I felt pretty confident about the interview (even before I realized the company was a scam). I was told I would get a call in about 10 days to schedule a third interview which would be where the job offer would happen. However, it has been over 15 days now and I have not received any callback or rejection email of any kind. I also noticed their LinkedIn page and website are completely gone as well. So I'm not sure what happened there.

I was called by an assistant, then forwarded to someone whom I didn't ask for, then put on hold twice, then spoke with a "hiring manager" who was more salesy than interviewing. After some strange back and forth about my financial and career goals and no description about what the real job was she invited me to come to a 10 minute interview (?!) in Mission Valley. I decided this wasn't for me. She said, "Well, not everyone wants to work for the Padres!" Ha. Ok little girl.

Interview process was quick. I applied online and received an email about an interview an hour later. The interview is a basic interview, like most others. However, the position described in the interview is completely different from the job description listed online. Like most other reviews say, this is a DOOR TO DOOR sales position. They don't lie about it in the interview process.

One of the managers interviewed me in their conference room. He was very condescending and I did not feel comfortable. I was kind of confused throughout the whole interview because he kept changing the "duties" I'd have. I got called back a couple hours after, but I turned it down.

I read the Glassdoor reviews before I came in and I should have treated them like warning signs. Initially, I thought it was cool that a company I just applied for could reach out so quickly. Then I got calls and reminders from the HR department telling me to come in for my interview. I then got a gut feeling that this company is probably out to get as many candidates as possible. When I finally got to the interview, I saw a couple of other people there for the same reason. The receptionists make you fill out an application, but it's the kind of application that you get when you apply to a mall job when you're in high school. Should you choose to apply, don't overlook these reviews. If you're looking for a career, I'd look somewhere else. If you're really young and you just need a job, perhaps this place can work for you. I'm not sure how much they pay but it's probably commission-based or a low hourly rate + commission.
