Kontras

Autocratic CEO who has little regard for his staff and puts himself on a pedestal in his ivory tower whilst taking pride in breeding and cultivating a toxic culture and working environment. As a... result of the autocrat the business is stuck in the 80's with no concept or desire to modernise yet has delusions of grandeur. You're inadvertently encouraged to leave your brain at home. Should you bring your own ideas and suggestions to the office, you and they will be vehemently chastised. The 'planned' IPO is dangled like a carrot (& is used on a daily basis as a tool to threaten you with) yet in reality isn't backed up by anything. History and past performance strongly indicate that it's nothing more than a pipe dream. A lot of long serving staff are 'dead wood' in the organisation that are bizarrely tolerated if not encouraged to be mediocre at best which unfortunately causes infestation and rot on new employees who join with capability and value but have the stuffing knocked out of them during their probationary period. Strategy has become a guessing game within the business where everyone is left to try and figure it out for themselves and anything that is 'agreed' ad hoc quickly becomes a moving target, yet your'e still expected to hit the bulls-eye blindfolded.

Rat an das Management

To the autocrat: When will you open your eyes and see the negative impact that you're personally having on the business and your staff? Please take a deep breath and long hard look at yourself in... the mirror for just one second before you return to your obsessive incessant criticism of everyone and everything around you. To the Senor Management team: Grow a backbone. To the Management team that are 'dead wood': Continue to sit back, relax, hide behind BMS and hope that Captec can trade for another 35 years to see you through to retirement. To the rest of the Management team who if allowed to think and act could bring tremendous value to any organisation: Execute your one 'Pro' (see above)...
