Rat an das Management

Re-evaluate your safety regulations. Onsite staff safety should be a #1 priority with any property management company. I was told that if I did not feel safe giving a tour I did not have to. When it... actually came down to me having to decline a tour, I was completely thrown under the bus and received a snarky email instead(my decline was recorded on a call). The thing that bothered me the most was before declining that tour I checked with the PM if it was ok and if the excuse I was giving was ok as well. She was leaving for the day and I was going to be alone on a construction site by myself after dark and the person calling had made us both uncomfortable/worried about safety during previous tours so I declined and tried to schedule for another day. I though I was ok, After all both the regional and pm had confirmed that my safety was priority. However the rude email I received from the VP the next day said different. I was to accept and allow tours no matter what and we always toured until we closed. Are you kidding me? There was no question about WHY I did not want that tour and there certainly was no concern about me as an employee. There was also ZERO support from my managers about the situation as well, I was thrown under the bus and blamed completely for “not being a team player.” this was just the beginning of my dislike for working here but it really just never sat right with me that someone thought I was disposable like that.
