We are committed to making our products reusable wherever possible, with material properties playing a central role in this regard. By using EPP, for example, our insulated boxes can be used multiple times. Our PAPERplus® paper cushions or Loose Fill packaging chips can also be reused without losing their excellent packaging properties. PAPERbubble® offers Storopack customers an innovative and eco-friendly alternative to traditional air bubble film. The protective packaging made of paper, a renewable raw material, in combination with air is 100% recyclable and reliably protects small to medium-sized goods during shipping, reducing the use of primary raw materials and fossil resources. PAPERbubble® is perfect for filling voids and wrapping and cushioning products from the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries, electronic components, and generally for safely shipping any goods sold online. Do you know that there are several possibilities of creating a sustainable packaging process? One part of a sustainable packaging process is choosing an appropriate packaging material. In order to protect the environment and saving natural resources Storopack is increasingly using eco-friendly and sustainable materials. You can choose between products which are partly made of renewable raw materials, recycled paper, biobased raw materials or vegetable starch. AIRplus® 100% Recycled, PAPERplus® CLASSIC GRASS or PELASPAN® BIO are examples for products made of sustainable materials. Read more about our sustainable and resource-saving products at:
We seek to promote an objective and fact-based assessment of plastics. In terms of resource input and CO2 emissions, these often represent the most environmentally friendly material for protective packaging, especially when these materials are already made from recycled materials. That is why it is so important to us to promote circular economies around the world – and therefore significantly boost the recycling rate. The equipment at our locations also plays a major role when it comes to protecting resources. We are therefore committed to efficient energy management and continuously optimize the energy footprint of our production plants and offices. For example, 68 new LED lamps in our Wildau plant enable annual savings of over 4,000 kilowatt hours. Read more about sustainability at:
