Ich habe mich online beworben. Der Vorgang dauerte mehr als 3 Monate. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im September 2020 bei Iress (Sydney (Australien)).
The interview process was done in three stages, and throughout the whole process the communication from the graduate team was excellent and they did an amazing job representing the company. Everyone I spoke with during and post assessment centre made me feel comfortable and each had a different and interesting personality, and were very friendly.
Codility (hackerrank/leetcode style) coding challenge which involved solving an easy and medium difficulty problem. These problems required using some very simple data structures and the latter involved some string processing and calculations. Correctness and thoroughness seem to have been regarded well in this stage.
One-way Video Interview. 5 questions with unlimited preparation time and a single 60 second take for each. Questions along the lines of you, "Why would you like to work here?", "Tell us about some interesting things you've been involved in, or worked on", etc. Having some time to think about and prepare a response made for a comfortable and fairly stress free experience.
Assessment Center. Behavioural + Technical (Remote - Zoom). The behavioural interview questions were based around Iress' core values. The technical interview involved some general and more specialized short answer questions from different areas of computer science, such as data structures (linked lists), complexity theory, concurrency, algorithms (sorting), databases, and web. Intertwined were some small problem solving challenges on linked lists and concurrency. These were followed by some brainteasers which were interesting, and actually quite simple once you had thought about them properly :(
