You were spot on when you hired a hardworking employee eager to learn the business and become a highly effective member of your team. Do not insist your next employee leave his current place of employment abruptly just to find that you have no training plan in place and then give unrealistic assignments beyond the job description without access to your guidance. Do not listen to gossip from insecure and competitive team members who are worried about their own job security without taking the time to at least speak with your new employee and develop an action plan if you feel that his work is not meeting expectations. Don't offer a position if you have no intention of keeping your new employee on your team. Your employees have responsibilities to support their families and have spotless employment records until you. I believed in you, advocated for you to our team and instead you were the worst manager that I have ever had. You are an extremely intelligent person but you have no management skills what-so-ever and should not hold the position that you do at Baxter.
Der Vorgang dauerte 3 Wochen. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im Februar 2009 bei Baxter (Waukegan, IL (Vereinigte Staaten von Amerika)).
Phone interview, 1:1 style, was concise and informal. Followed up with a half-day mixed with panels and 1:1 interviews. Personnel were on-time, cordial and professional. Planning of the interviews was well done by HR, however personnel had problems finding enough to ask during the time allotted. Office as bright, clean and well configured. While waiting, employees walking through the building seemed happy and not overwhelmed.
I did not get the impression that employees were prepped prior to the interview, as the questions had no flow and some employees resorted to canned questions.
