What you'll be doing
As the Skills Development Lead at Sainsbury's HR, your role will be focused on identifying and implementing multiple entry point skills development programmes that align with the business needs and priorities. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in Resourcing, Talent and Development, Group Technical and Digital Learning, as well as Senior Talent Partners across all departments within Sainsbury's to evaluate, devise, and deliver the framework of solutions that meet the future skills demands of the organisation. This will involve working with the recruitment team to develop talent attraction solutions, collaborating with Talent and Development and Group Technical and Digital Learning to create internal programmes to support skills development and talent retention, and managing programmes to ensure the best outcomes for managers and colleagues. Additionally, you will strategically implement the T-level strategy and maintain the governance and compliance requirements while continuously staying updated on future skills thinking, legislation, and industry best practices. Your strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills will be essential in building great working relationships and inspiring others.

With your project management expertise and ability to deliver at pace while maintaining high standards, you ensure the successful implementation of multiple entry point programmes and the T-level strategy. Your strong collaboration skills and dedication to continuous professional development make you a valued member of the team, as you play a key role in shaping the skills landscape and supporting Sainsbury's overall Diversity and Inclusion agenda.
