The not-for-profit Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS) seeks a Digital Marketing and Communications Assistant to support our efforts in promoting FEBS Press journals and increasing the visibility of FEBS events and programs. Reporting to the Strategic Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with the FEBS Press Publisher to run marketing activities and manage a wide range of digital marketing and communications daily tasks and campaigns for FEBS.
Main responsibilities
- Collaborating with multiple stakeholders in an international environment, at different time zones
- Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of marketing activities
- Supporting the Strategic Marketing Manager in organizing multiple projects
- Conducting market research and analyzing target audience reports/ questionnaires.
- Developing Marketing performance analytics reports, and presenting results in marketing reports
- Developing campaigns and managing digital marketing performance hands-on tasks: search Paid Advertising (Google Ads, Baidu), paid social media campaigns (YouTube, Linkedin, Twitter), email/newsletter campaigns
- Developing strategies and campaigns and managing digital communications hands-on tasks: social media organic, digital content, digital customer journeys
- Developing content marketing strategies and coordinating content calendars
- Providing concise instructions to agencies and effectively managing the development of promotional materials
- Creating graphic designs
- Managing CMS (Content Management System) platforms and websites.
- Managing online communities and conducting social listening
- Other digital marketing and communication tasks
Essential requirements
- BA in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant fields.
- Experience of at least 2 years in the field of Digital Marketing and Communications. Additional experience in Marketing operations is a plus.
- Google Ads certifications: Google Ads Search, Google Ads Display, Google Ads Video
- Familiarity with the Molecular Life Sciences, and Academic Publishing.
- English language (C2)
- Prior experience in working in an international setting.
This is a full-time, permanent position. The FEBS headquarters office is in Cambridge, UK. The successful candidate can work remotely in Germany, Spain or the UK.
