    Pros

    Remote working and flexi time. There used to be a lot more perks to working at onefinestay (health insurance, perkbox, free food and drink, great coffee machine, exercise classes, free pizza Friday etc.) but they have recently taken most of these away. Apart from this, the few people that are left in the office are the perks. Amazing people with such great talent - great hires.

    onefinestay changed so drastically in the time that I worked there (especially in the tech department) and the cause for this was 100% the senior management. Some examples of how the C-Level executives work: - Publicly release important private company data accidentally due to lack of knowledge of how systems work. - Laying off a whole team who had been at the company for years a couple of weeks before Christmas because...

    Stop being so unbelievably disrespectful to your employees - not only is it rude and uncalled for but completely disgraceful for those with such a high status to alienate an entire office. Talk to your remaining employees as transparently as you can instead of evading and re-working any awkward questions that come your way.

    At this point in time I can't think of a pro to work there today. Maybe some discounts at Accor Hotels? Here's a teaser: at the rate people in the company are paid right now, they can't afford to stay in an Accor Hotel even with the insulting discount.

    - Senior leadership team is a circus. There is zero concern about employee morale and people are viewed very much so as disposable and replaceable. From the new CEO (whose pompous, very arrogant attitude has pushed put all of the talent from all teams) all the way through the 12 C-Level members.     High calibre people throughout the whole hierarchy. Wonderful product & brand.

    Highly turbulent throughout acquisition and merger processes with lots of politics involved and hence double standards appearing.

    A perfect specimen for amateur and professional corporate anthropologists to see from up close how a company with a stellar team and amazing culture is turned into a toxic environment for productive work and it's business is smashed into the ground.

    This company had perks, but they were cut for saving money reasons. Among the cuts were number of trash bins per floor, assumed to save cleaners time and thus money; and they even saved paper towel in the kitchen.     Pros

    Good staff/team spirit, lots of opportunities. Yes, you have to sometimes drive this yourself but it is truly a two-way street.

    Company directions are not always clear to see. While it is communicated, the implementation of it can sometimes lead you to feel unsure of the actual end game.

    You get to see the inside of some very nice houses.

    To be frank, you have to be truly desperate to take this position. It is almost impossible to make any money and you are sent running all over the city. Once you actually get to the greet, and if the guest actually does show up on time, it is easy. But the act of getting there is nearly impossible.     Turn the position of greeter into a legitimate part-time position or, at the very least, pay for the time it takes to get to the greet. Also, organize your office so that the greet packs are actually ready to go. Communicate better with greeters and give them ample warning for changes. I have shown up to the office to find out there is no greet and I will not be paid for my time.
