    - very structured and detailed internship program with direct manager to report to - definite possibility to kickstart a post-grad career (sales interns are learning a lot of what Sales Development Representatives do) - Everyone is SO nice and friendly - Pay is extremely competitive - Healthy, eco-friendly Snacks/Coffee/La Croix in kitchen

    Pros

    Many people who are still with the company are great. Good product. Mostly consistent strategy. Priorities are... well, they have them, for better or for worse. A lot of well-intentioned people who want to do the right thing.

    Pros

    Zendesk is an amazing company, great product and the leadership at the very top is smart and passionate. There are a lot of really awesome people that work there that care a lot about doing a good job, as well as being good to each other. It has grown a lot, but still has a great culture.

    I would not recommend working in the People Ops team. Things were great until more recently. New leadership was brought in that never worked at a company of our size, and is trying to make it corporate and "operationalize" everything. You can't automate every process, and the focus has changed from taking care of all employees to only management at the top and whatever their pain points are. There has been massive turnover...

    Get involved with the issues going on, don't look the other way. Other orgs are seeing the effects of this. Give these leaders coaching or something to teach them how to be leaders. No one will admit that there's a fundamental problem. People in People Ops are really unhappy and you will have complete turnover if something isn't done. And if these leaders causing the problems aren't willing to change, then they should...

    Pros

    Good culture. Friendly co workers. Interesting work. Good benefits. Good potential for advancement. Free beer if you are into that. Depending on the role the pay can be decent. Very support when you have a family or other emergency. Mid level managers are very good with letting the teams know what is coming.

    Company seems to be looking at reducing healthcare benefits via HSAs Work life balance is becoming a thing of the past Pay lags behind competitors in most regions Management isn't always on top of what their staff is doing and is often disconnected from the day to day of the staff. The coffee isn't very good. The reality doesnt often match the values.

    As of June 12th, 2019... Benefits: -$70 per month phone reimbursement -$120 commuter reimbursement -Free health insurance for cheap plans, very low cost for other plans -ESPP stock purchase plan (15% discount), up to 15% of salary -really good maternity/paternity leave (think it's 4 months or so) -401K plan (horrible match though - see "cons") Office: -snacks, food for basic breakfast (cereal/oatmeal), and...

    Benefits: -Overall, I think the benefits are pretty good. However, the 401K match is absolutely horrible. It's $0.25 for every dollar you contribute, up to 1% of your salary. So, the match is basically nothing. Office: -Not the best part of town. Have to be alert when walking outside. -No dedicated parking. There are parking lots close by for about $15 per day (can use $120 commuter money for this). Most people...

    - good benefits and a very nice office in London (Paddington). - amazing product . - good people in the DACH team (though worn out by the UK (EMEA) Management.)

    EMEA Sales management are not up for the job and not qualified or not bothered to to run an Enterprise business. Brexit spirit in the office (only the Brits can lead???) to work for Salesforce before shouldn't be sufficient to get a job at Zendesk. micro management. no strategy in EMEA. too much admin work.
