    The company offers a good working environment and the benefits are good, it also offers many trainings which helped me in the professional development and this reflected in the quality of the services that I performed

    The company does not have a defined career plan which makes chances of promotion difficult to happen as well as job rotation programs to improve learning and train professionals with a broader view of business

    I think that the human resources department must structure a career plan together with a salary plan so that it can value employees and thus take advantage of the talents that exist within the company, thus forming a stronger and more competitive organization

    Pros

    Once you are a well respected employee, people start to treat you better. Lots of freedoms, for the most part (for salaried employees)

    Kontras

    Earning the respect of "knowing what you're talking about" is overwhelming to a lot of people and so they think its a bad place. Things change at a ridiculous pace so you have to ebb and flow with the environment. I'm too good for my current position so I will never get promoted -- they cant afford to lose me.

    Slow down and pull the place together. There are too many low-level people making different decisions that dont align with one another. The management team needs to provide and enforce a common direction (but TAKE TIME developing that direction -- dont just whip it out there and MANDATE it for the next three weeks and then forget about it again.)

    Flexibility, Location, learning opportunity, and people

    Pay is lower than other peers in area at other companies and Automotive is currently unstable

    Take care of the poople taking care of you. If a plant is making money encourage it to make more but do not do that by cutting back. I understand 1 or 2 year wage freezing given the concern but with years of raises less than the cost of living it gets tough to give up more. Give real raises and bonuses based on realistic performance expectations and dont just give everyone (0 to 2)% those that give up homelife... and work hard should get rewarded not the same as those that put in the minimum. The upper management needs to lead this through incentives because local management is doing its best to cut costs but may not be getting as much out of current workers as they could with properly structured incentives.
