    Pros

    Great benefits & pay. Discounted car payment with paid insurance, hard work is acknowledged by direct management but executive level maintains the "German" way of thinking & they don't really care about the individual.

    Kontras

    Lots of changes at leadership level. Headcount reductions occurring due to diesel scandal. Strategy changes every year based on which German is in charge.

    Daily Hours: Flexible schedule, at least on the IT side. Discretionary based on Manager and Team culture. Vacation: 25 days annually of PTO, carryover up to 10 days, informal process to book days off. Corporate Card: 5K limit, usable for travel and stipend to be reimbursed per online channel. Annual Training: Manager’s discretion, minimum is usually 2-3K per year for each team member. Internal... Training: Continual Brand, Health and Personal Development Training Courses offered and taken onsite - during regular work hours. Most people participate in the fun driver courses to try & (or) view new vehicle models launched (2011 Jetta, new 2010 A5s, R8 and Bugatti Veyron). Lease Vehicle Specials: eligible for immediate family (parents, children, siblings, spouse) as well as self – both Audi & Volkswagen vehicles at special rates (includes fleet insurance), purchase options at wholesale pricing. Health / Dental / Vision: Excellent packages with low premiums, subsidized ‘HSA’, free health screenings, flu shots, wellness seminars... guest presentations on Cancer prevention onsite – to encourage employee heath. Gym Facility: Subsidized membership, discounted rate of $30 per month at nearby facility with frequent visitation (16x +) per month – added $15 reimbursement incentive. Employee Engagement: Annual Picnic, Xmas Party, monthly activities such as departmental BBQs, parties and contests via the Employee Activities Committee, Diversity and Green Committees (involved in all)… volunteer days for ‘Meals on Wheels’ and Cancer Walk event sponsorship… casual days for donations to charities. Annual Raise and Bonus: Based on profitability of the financing division… generally standard 2% and bonus.
