    The manager was very flexible with my schedule. I am a student so she worked around my class schedule which reduced stress for me.

    They have a large turn over rate, so the people you work with and the knowledge level is constantly changing.

    Mod changes expected without considering high volume customers

    Upper management needs to be more available and helpful to store manager.
    Cooperate allows customers to return items that have been abused or used WAY past return policy time which loses money for the store, encourages customer abusing policies and makes store level personnel look stupid. Stop giving in to customers who are CLEARLY not RIGHT.

    The customers that frequent Tractor Supply are great. Product line is fantastic.

    Frequently asked to do things that are against company values. Lack of planning at management level. Employee turn around is high because management does not develope and invest in store staff. Understaffed shifts cause for customer and employee dissatisfaction.

    Happy, well trained employees make for happy customers. For a company who promotes legendary customer service and is driven by customer feed back and loyalty stores need to do better at preparing and planning for customer and store needs. Having assisted at other stores while employees were out or needing assistance with resets and such this seems to be a common theme among stores.

    Big bonus (If you hit your profit numbers for YTD)
    You make your own schedule.
    Off on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas.
    Not too complicated Job.
    Nashville trip every year!

    If you don't have a solid team you will be working 65+ hours
    no career advancement after you become store manager.
    always cutting hours and leadership above you won't let you hire full time employees only part time.

    Easy money depending on how well you train your team however expectations can be unrealistic. If you're planning on furthering your career this is not a place to be, once you become store manager there is not that many District Manager positions open and people are already handpicked for those spots. Also, it is hard to get a store in an area you want to be after you've done your time in an area you don't want to be. Company preaches work balance however it's retail, if your store isn't right prepare to work extra hours and days.

    If you work in a store with a manager that actually works it’s an awesome little job. Great health insurance, room for advancement . You must be a multitasker

    Have to be able to learn on your own there is very minimal training. Work is very physical you need to be fit and don’t mind getting dirty. Very under staffed and as a manager not think you’ve above any task which includes scrubbing bathrooms if you want to be successful

    Doing your work plus having to help someone else that is not best suited for the job ! Should be better at hiring people that can do the job than! But instead there is to much favoritism and not enough tough management for the the ones messing around while the ones that work are stuck having to do the slackers work also
