    Pros

    - good stepping stone to build experience in industry - free shuttle bus from Cornbrook tram stop to the office - nice food in canteen - making changes in office amenities, ie. new coffee machine and free snacks and drinks in fridge - day off on birthday - gym on-site

    Kontras

    - campaigns often lose purpose after getting passed around different teams with zero communication and the final result very rarely delivers what it was intended to - too many cooks wanting to 'improve' everything without listening to the initial brief. - poor morale in office- e.g. regular rude emails from management saying the team isn't good enough, working hard enough, when profits aren't as big as they'd... like... - management works from abroad and there is next to zero team spirit, often feel out of the loop and no longer engaged with what is going on. - some talented people are dismissed for little reason, while others remain in roles they are incapable of doing - why? - 'Head of' titles handed out like sweets, more people in the management meetings than general staff - some extremely backwards comments in the office

    Rat an das Management

    Take a long hard at every area of the business, and more specifically the managers you have hired to run these teams. There's definitely a bullying and 'if you face doesnt fit' culture at TMG/Gregory Pennington and when I left your company I literally felt relived that I didn't ever have to step foot on that site again. The whole team 'lets pick a call and rip apart training' doesn't work, the 1 hour + calls with... customers don't work and you wonder why they never pick the phone up to us again. Too compliant, means advisers can't relax on calls which leads to mistakes and makes the adviser sound inexperienced which isn't the case. Pay the advisers bonus - WHICH THEY DESERVE. Every other debt solutions company pays bonus and what do you get? Happy staff and people who want to work for the business.

    Pros

    Onsite Gym and Canteen. But mostly using as a stepping stone to progression elsewhere and knowing what culture you sure as hell don't ever want to be in again!!!

    No progression, unless you are willing to suck up to management and not have your own opinions or ideas. Terrible culture. Management speak to employees like trash, fundamental issues regarding treatment of staff, quite clear most of them do not have people skills for these roles. High turnover of staff (says a lot). General feel of negative vibes throughout the offices, whether that be stress or generally people... wishing the day away from the second they enter the building. Far too many incompetent people creating more work and demotivating the teams to cause stress and unhappiness.

    Try working as a team, getting some people skills and motivating the teams, get rid of the dead wood rather than letting them pull the team down and reward and progress the competent and hard workers.

    Pros

    Progressive place to work, good knowledgeable and capable staff, good management and progression opportunities. Facilities on site good too, well equipped gym with free PT services, good support for cyclists, canteen food good, prices reasonable, staff very friendly. CEO takes time to know who everyone is and is approachable. Currently the dress policy is smart casual (and that can mean t-shirts, jeans and... trainers as long as they're smart), which is a pleasant thing. You get a day off for your birthday, in addition to holiday policy.

    Possibly not for everyone; some people don't seem to fit in, but if you do it's a great place to work. Can be high pressure sometimes, but that's work for you. Pension is only OK. You don't start with many holidays but they can be built up with service, and you can buy or sell a week per annum.

    Pros

    Friendly and down to earth people. Parking included within the premises. Flexi-Time Good wages. Good progression prospects. They seem to value people and ask for a lot of feedback which is always nice.

    Kontras

    Dress code is still strict but will soon loosen up. Some people might not get parking at the premises. Might be hard at first to fit in.

    I’m only new so there isn’t much I can say, I’ve been treated very well hence the review, only thing I can say would be sorting out the dress code, at least for developers ( we like to be comfortable whiles coding ).

    Great building and worksite Great training Beautiful canteen food

    Kontras

    Extremely tight laced and uptight Expected to work over time without pay - "I will tell you when you can go home" (is this primary school?) Constant abuse from customers Terrible guidelines for handling situations where you cannot discuss something - no clear guidance at all. Lack of empathy from Management No phones allowed in anywhere but the canteen - where you cannot get reception so you're forced to connect to... wifi where you are monitored

    I liked my team.

    - The parking is a joke. Unless you're in a position of power/£££ you won't get a space from Monday - Thursday. - Canteen is so overpriced - Directors look at you like you're a piece of turd on their shoes. Incredibly rude staff. - Strong culture of ruling by fear/shifting the blame to someone else - Favouritism is rife though so if your face fits you'll be fine. Or, if you're a sociopath.

    Good food in cafe My manager is very approachable

    The working hours are ridiculous. Going from finishing at 8pm to 8am is absolutely knackering! Constant calls no time to even think! Behind on post for over a month (nov and we’re in March now) Not enough training

    Please sort the training out & stop putting unrealistic targets in for admin time! Most people are doing what needs to be done in this time and not messing about! Less pressure! If we need the time to complete a call please don’t shout at us to get back on the phones- that is when mistakes are made Make it easier to get payrises
