    Pros

    Can’t really think of any! Maybe free yogurt.

    HR and management are full of nothing but lies. They tell you whatever you want to hear but none of it’s the truth. Just add double to the time they will tell you when you will be hired. You are treated completely different than the rest of the employees. They reassure you of your expendable status.

    Pros

    Lots of vacation time if you have lots of experience. Yearly raises, though sometimes paltry... and good yearly bonuses!

    Some good spirited people to work with, despite abysmal and abusive working conditions.

    Kontras

    Not sure who the top tier management actually is, but there's a lot of people dropping the ball. Danone never took care of us, now it's Lactalis who owns us. Leadership is only concerned about meeting the hefty demands of management, yet management itself is very poor and reward the poorest performers the same way they do the highest ones, as an attempt simply to bribe everyone to come in to work mandatory 6-day weeks. Some days run with over 20 people on the floor and a unbelievable number of safety hazards as a constant process. Equipment problems, very poor staffing, scheduling, communication and training abound exist all the time, especially in shipping.

    It seems management is there to be as clueless as possible, collecting a paycheck and going home regardless of the needs of the business to get the job done.

    Haphazard work methods are common, and result in major losses to the business with inventory damage, shorts, overages and wrongly picked items to the customer.

    Seems no end is in sight to the retention and replacement of uncommonly incompetent management over many departments within the plant.

    People are heard while being talked over when it comes to suggestions for improvement, but NEVER listened to.

    Owners should consider just starting Stonyfield all over again in a new place with much more space, and get rid of most of its current employees with bad work ethics and poor performers. The warehouse is nothing more than a broken down parking lot that will never meet the demands for business Lactalis is expecting.

    Execute and act upon plans instead of simply going through the motions to just plop a check mark off your useless checklists...

    Career advancement is based solely on Human Resources preferences, and on a person-to-person favorability.

    The business has so much opportunity. Benefits are good. Working in NH is a lifestyle plus.

    Kontras

    Really all over the place. Some of the VPs literally do nothing. The levels below them are very hard working. Constantly changing the priorities and lack of commitment to a strategy or plan so lots of wasted work and energy. Lots of decisions made at the very top so little empowerment and too much micro-managing.

    Pros

    Honestly not a bad place to work, pay and benefits are nice for the area, but it is hard work.

    Kontras

    12 hour shifts aren't for everyone, and management folds to pressure from above on everything.

    5 weeks vaca, that's about it

    Kontras

    Inattentive management, only looking out for themselves, no real production issues are ever resolved, all management just keeps passing the buck, which makes hourly's jobs extremely frustrating. This also applies to any kind of service that may be needed from Hr, IE; Insurance, PPE and any other thing you can think of. Absolutely NO SUPPORT! Management is to busy with themselves to care about any issues that may keep them from there 2 hour morning coffee, or lunch break or one of there "meetings"

    Pros

    People are excited about the resources the new owner, Lactalis, can provide..different story than Danone

    Casual atmosphere - people work hard and play hard. Dress code is essentially a tshirt and jeans, but the people are brilliant

    Interesting to have the manufacturing plant connected to HQ. A lot of diversity from top to bottom eating in the cafeteria together

    People are welcoming - the executive and leadership teams are very approachable

    They encourage volunteering and visiting the regional dairy farms

    It's a B Corp which earns a lot of merit from those that are environmentally and socially conscious (mostly all of the employees)

    The building is decorated nicely with pictures of the founders, pictures of employees, and pictures of the farmers with their animals. It has a pool table, basketball court, gym, massage room, nursing rooms for mothers, etc. Free yogurt, of course.

    Despite the lack of high-walled cubicles, departments felt silo'd. Files are also disorganized in drives and someone can spend hours digging through data that should've been accessible enough to find in 5 minutes
