    Neutrale Prognose

Ich arbeite seit weniger als einem Jahr bei State of Missouri als Vollzeit

    Pros

I love working with the people in my office. There are a few of my co-worker who are stuck in the past. Overall a good place to work.

    Kontras

With any government work, there is a lot of red tape with some of the programs that i wish where not in place.

    Rat an das Management

Pay the state employees more so you can reduce turnover within the state and also to keep better talent.

    Negative Prognose

Ich arbeite seit mehr als 5 Jahren bei State of Missouri (Vollzeit)

    Pros

Good benefits from the start except the pay. Promotion opportunities for women without experience, drive or ambition. Most jobs clustered in Jefferson City but not secure with privatizing of many departments and divisions. Good place to start for slackers, posers and unprofessionals to start climbing the ladder.

    Kontras

Little or no oversight of leadership beginning with HR department. Little or no career path or leadership opportunities for anyone that suggest ideas or go above the call of duty. Men are outnumbered 4 to 1 in most divisions and not in promoted. Pay ranges are a joke, pay scale remains lowest of 49 states and does not change. Horrible morale and total disconnect between actual workers and "management". Bureaucratic... and political attitude permeates the organization, slowing down progress and wasting resources. Over achievers, professionals and outside the box thinkers are discouraged and purged by intimidation and a secret sorority sisterhood of the Ivory tower. Open door policy does not exist, locked and bolted shut. No sense of urgency is present behind closed doors and retaliation for workers and customers who question anything is beyond belief.

    Rat an das Management

Get real, get out the Ivory Tower into the field and reconnect with the staff holding you up. Jump ship before it sinks. Establish term limits all for merit management positions and political appointees within the administrative organizations. Provide staff realistic competitive wages that can support a family with respect.
