    It is fun to work with people passionate about the airline. Everybody curses something about their salary and treatment but at the end of the day they value the job. As a entry level job you get the maximum benefit to gain experience and knowledge about your work. Most managers encourage individual ideas and hierarchy is non existent. Except that at the end money is the decision maker

    Even though most employees value the company and their job, the management is pathetic. They think free donuts and popcorn can make employees stay. Sorry, good pay, and benefits are the key for any employee retention.

    If you really want to retain talent please make sure you give more time off and pay good salary or at least annual bonus to employees at all levels not just Managers and above. After all it is the people on the lower level who do the actual job. Also you have a huge vision to grow. But remember to sustain growth you need people who can work for it.     Work more than 10+ hours a day, 5 days a week without additional compensation. Low pay Very negative job. Dealing with complaints consistently. Other departments don't treat you well. Director doesn't speak with the coordinators. The job requires a degree however, it is not needed to perform the daily job functions. Bad shifts High turnover because of all of the above

    It's not far for employees in the department to work 16 hours days to complete their workloads. Also, the pay for this department is terrible and needs to be increased. Other depts need to treat Guest Relations better and work with them to assist the guests.

    The main con is that the company has a bad reputation- so whenever there is even a minor delay whether it be over weather or maintenance- we are the face of the company and we receive the backlash.     Treat your employees better. They get the full blunt force of dealing with angry customers every time when Spirit fails to deliver the service customer pays for. Your workers are the ones in blistering cold, hot heat, unsafe working in environment and all management does whip employees like slaves.
