    There was a great team atmosphere on the Floor. Its a good place to do some hand s on learning

    Many of the workers had really tough hours and it made difficult for them to not work overtime every week. They had staffing issues .

    I believe the management does a good Job but needs to focus on getting employees working just a weekend shift or something so that they don't have to make some people work mandatory weekends all the time .

    Job guarantee Stress free environment like government jobs.

    Poor HR policies Poor Job profiles, You will feel like managers and executives are doing same work. No scope for educated fellows from good institutes. Office politics. Some people are even paid for not working at all.

    Good people and good coworkers on the engineering team

    Horrible defensive management that is totally blind and incompetent. Chaotic planning that does not allow engineers or other personnel to flourish. Horrible and inexcusable welcoming method onto the company that starts an engineer off with NO TOOLS to win. Horrible people skills that shows in their downward culture. No one likes working at LUK USA.

    Pros

    401K is competitive at 6% match. Most people are generally good natured - there aren't too many sour apples. Though, they will certainly hire any moron from what I have seen (which is great for some people).

    Kontras

    LuK has a very poor culture and low moral. Senior people often advise on younger generations to get out while they still can. Company offers little for employees to be passionate about. Most people simply dislike the company but are married to the job and can't get out because of financial or family ties in the area. The company does next to nothing to show appreciation or commitment to their employees. For... example, LuK often works the manufacturing floor 6-7 days a week but won't do anything to show they care or appreciate the work. How about a bottle of water? Free snacks? Free lunch? Food is pathetic and overpriced. Instead of trying to provide a service for the employees, it's another example of how the company only cares about money. It's low quality food with equally low taste. For the "special" meals that aren't quite as bad, expect to pay a premium. They need to take some pride in the little things they can provide for employees. Oh yeah, so old school they accept only cash. Low standards on cleanliness.

    Rat an das Management

    Management needs to hire professional leaders - not people who just went through the ranks to their level of incompetence. Real leaders motivate people and they alone can be the reason for a great company. Even at the minimum, show your employees you appreciate all their work by doing something at simple as walking around and saying "Thank you" and shake their hand. In general, the company makes good money but... that isn't all a company is about. Start thinking about how else the company can be better...
