    Pros

    Potential to make alot of money. They will tell you all you have to do is memorize a script. They will show you a report that shows how much the other reps are selling and making. However, it is what they don't tell you that you should know.

    This message is intended to protect any future employee who is considering accepting this job. Only accept this job if you are unemployed, or desperate to make a move. They have unethical hiring practices. I have highlighted what they tell you above in the Pros. The fact is, they have a significant track record of failure with new reps. You are being hired on a probationary period of 3 months. You need to be closing at 25% (the same bar they set for their seasoned reps). You have 3 weeks of training to memorize a 25 page script, and then are expected to close at 25%. You have 3 months to get to that level. Of the dozens of reps that have come through the program, their only looks to be 1 person that will make it. The reports they show you in the recruiting process have deleted all the reps that didn't make it. So, you can't see the dozens of names. They are experiencing a 97% failure rate with new sales reps over the prior 4 years. Charlie, the president of the company, does not care about sales reps. He invests very little outside of the 3 week training class. You have to buy your own hardware (new I pad, laptop, temperature gun, etc). The strategy is to train a new set of reps than put further training into someone who shows promise. They believe all is needed is to memorize a script. They have no adjustments for those who are learning a new company, or a new product. I was not aware that this job would only last a total of 4 months when I started. Had I known that, I never would have resigned from my last job and accepted this one. That is unethical, and I hope any potentially new rep reads this before quitting a good paying job or turning down another position that could have longevity. Avoid at all costs.
