    Interesting new products that have the potential to bring the company back into the market as a viable engine manufacturer, if executed effectively.

    The work force doesn't seem to be creative enough to figure out how to provide solutions in an increasingly analytical and diagnostic driven industry. The company seems to be years behind what their competitors have already brought to market and unwilling to recognize that, as majority of workforce has limited or no knowledge outside of PW.

    There are too many meetings that are solely used to flow down information. Furthermore, there appears to be lack of empowerment throughout middle management regarding their ability to make lasting decisions on any initiative without fear of frustrating an executive. The organization remains highly bureaucratic.

    Against all the bravado for the new products and industrial growth, there still is unwillingness to accept that creative solutions need to be nurtured, that the company should be honest with themselves and to benchmark themselves against competitors, and resting on tired excuses for why something can't be done shouldn't be accepted. With all the new employees being hired, there are no clear efforts to utilize their prior knowledge and experience. Rather new employees' excitement is stifled as they're transformed into an existing mold.

    Smart people, nice new Engineering Tech Center

    Very political, archaic time-keeping system (ie must work 8 hours a day with no ability to log any worked past 8) yet if you work 10 hours on Monday you can't move 2 of those hours to Friday and leave a bit early...no incentive to go above and beyond yet management fully expects that...told expectation is to exceed annual performance goal by ~20%, when I told of my expectation for meeting the stretch goal was ~10% raise, was told that can't happen....it can the company just won't..really not a great place for career growth unless you a politically connected internally and willing to work 24/7

    Come into the 21st century...quit just providing lip service to the "Busting Bureaucracy" and actually empower employees to do what they need to in order to accomplish their jobs. Move the plethora of micromanagers out which would accomplish two things employee empowerment and allow for career progression
