    Pros

    - Best company culture with great team spirit. Everybody is always willing to help each other. No arrogance or bad personalities. There are hardly any people I don't like on a personal level. - Open minded people who don't judge you on how you look. - Flat organisation: not many layers between employee and CEO. Fast pace and responsive. Not much politics. - Even the youngest, most junior team members get... opportunities to shine and encouraged to speak up. - Training and development through International Leadership Program is absolutely world-class. Awesome to network and learn from peers in other departments and regions. - Flexibility, initiative and self-responsibility are ingrained in the culture. Managers are NOT treating their employees like little children with micro managing every detail. If you are entrepreneurial and feel confident with uncertainty & in chaotic, dynamic environments, then Puma is the right company for you!

    - Business units need to talk more and better with each other. Often the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. - Pace of change can feel slow compared to competitors. There are a lot of ideas and creativity but they are often not followed through to the end. - Tendency to stick with successful formulas instead of trying new approaches. - Compensation at Junior levels is lower than local... competitors and salary raises (besides annual increases) are only possible with promotions.

    - Structural organisational and supply chain issues don't get fixed because there is no owner in upper management. Puma could do even better if certain long-standing issues and processes were addressed. - There are still too many administrative tasks and legacy processes that waste company time and don't add value to the end-consumer or retailers. - Remove long-distance reporting lines as much as possible: they... are not effective and waste a lot of company time and money. - Make change management and innovation a KPI. - Empower Innovation department to commercialise and actually sell their ideas as products directly to end-consumers. - Keep certain egos in check.

    Pros

    PUMA is a very dynamic and fast growing company offering a variety of individual development options. The company also provides additional benefits such as free gym, health classes, home office, employee discount, cafeteria etc. within a very nice working environment (incl. flat hierarchies). The employee relationships are based on an open communication style and respect (right balance between younger and... experienced employees). Assigned tasks and projects are very interesting and challenging, however this can vary from department to department. In general, PUMA is a very interesting company to work for within a pleasant environment. Compared to other companies in the area, PUMA offers a much more familiar and friendly working environment for its employees. Working equipment is modern and up-to date, fast IT support.

    Due to the infrastructure in Herzogenaurach, most employees commute in cars; public transportation is possible but can be exhausting. There is still potential to make existing processes more efficient.

    the environment is very friendly and everybody is very open; easy to get access to anyone - there's a nice 'open door' culture which definitely helps!

    travel management policy with only coach for who travels long flights (over 8 hrs) is definitely a no-go. Travel time also not being considered as working hours not good - if I cannot be with my family then it's work! they need to improve this

    There are plenty of good things you could say about puma: -Global player with lot of interessting stuff going on -Great IT-department with vast knowledge -Caring about employees and work-life-balance And let's be honest. It is just cool to workout at lunch and running into Kevin Price Boateng at the lockers :)

    Pros

    PUMA is a great place to work. The company offers a good work-life balance and overtime and pay is dealt with in a very transparent manner. There's a good canteen on site as well as sports facilities. Hierarchies are very flat and people are encouraged to speak up, which makes working here a very agreeable experience. Judging from the many people you meet who have worked here for many, many years, it looks like a... place where you can stay and grow.

    Have not yet encountered any major problems. Some of my colleagues are not a fan of the company's somewhat remote location but looking at rent levels in major European hubs, I don't think being in the countryside is a negative.

    dubios/ unequal compensation structures between departments but even within one team promotion partly to mostly based on sympathy and internal politics, not performance (depending on department) high amount of restructuring forcing many leaves many higher management positions are filled with long term employees rather than competent and capable managers often one step behind industry competitors regarding trends... and internal processes
