Ich habe weniger als ein Jahr bei PGi als Vollzeit gearbeitet

    Pros

    Easy to get time off

    Kontras

Very gossipy staff members. More directors than you can shake a stick at. Directors of nothing.

    Rat an das Management

Demote the directors and managers, the majority are not needed and useless at what they do.

Ich habe für mehr als 10 Jahre bei PGi gearbeitet (Vollzeit)

    Pros

The culture used to be fantastic and it was a great place to work. The majority of the employees here were in it for the long haul and had many years of experience. Since the new CEO and upper management took over, there are zero pro's to working for this organization. Any good employee has left or is in the process of leaving. The only positive is that the majority of employees work remotely, so your work... life balance can be great, depending on your manager. But there are plenty of remote work opportunities that exist nowadays.

    Kontras

    1. Upper Management doesn't care about the employees: In 2018/2019 they chose not to pay bonuses and commission to anyone who overachieved their plans and didn't address the situation with the sales organization. They chose to ignore it and pretend they didn't make the decision. You will also have trouble with your monthly commission, guaranteed. They offer no reports to justify the numbers they provide in your... comp statements and when you try to hold them responsible, they ignore you or wait weeks to respond, if they respond. 2. Zero customer service: Whether you're in sales or an actual customer, the customer service has/is declining rapidly. Because the culture is so terrible, no one cares. Within sales, you have no support and when you have to rely on the support teams for assistance, it takes weeks for them to respond, if they respond at all. This is true of middle management as well. 3. No Direction: This company has no direction and simply doesn't care. They are clearly trying to be purchased, but they have no viable product to sell and there's a real possibility they will be declaring bankruptcy sooner than later. 4. No room for advancement or other opportunities. There are no career paths or options to move up.

    Rat an das Management

You should have cared about your employees. At this point, you've made your bed and there's nothing you can do to change that. You should have been transparent and fair to your employees.

    Pros

The culture at PGi used to be amazing. They truly cared about the employees and were constantly showing their appreciation and helping each person obtain whatever goals they were shooting for. It's partially still there, but fading quickly unfortunately. There are still some great managers who care and I hope they stick around. Benefits were also fantastic, generous paid time off, work from home for some... positions, 401K, medical/dental, tuition reimbursement, food provided during the busy season, awards and recognition, etc.

    Kontras

Since the owner sold the company and the new CEO took over, the culture has shifted dramatically. Money over quality is winning out. People were proud and happy to work there and you could tell by the longevity of the employees, there was very little turnover. They started removing benefits and perks, no more 401K matching. The cost of health insurance has tripled in the last several years with less coverage.... Other smaller benefits have also been stripped. There have been waves of layoffs which means more work with employees being cross trained in different departments to help everywhere they can but it's a constant game of catch-up. Great people are leaving and a lot of the replacements don't have the same care and commitment to the clients.

The writing is on the wall that money will soon be the only priority, not the employees and not even the clients. PGi thrived because of the company culture, if it doesn't swing back the other way it will just be another low cost provider with bad customer service. But, maybe the new executives are just making the company look extremely profitable to get their bonuses or just sell us to the highest bidder. Please... fight to get it back and maybe some of your great employees will come back.

Ich arbeite seit mehr als 10 Jahren bei PGi (Vollzeit)

    Pros

    - WAS good when proper, qualified heads managed the department - WAS a company one may consider for the long haul - HAD exceptional collegues who were ready to give their all for the company - HAD opportunities for growth and frills that kept employees from leaving - The interim department head, who was from a different department, was much more adept than the current.

    Kontras

    - Through a series of acquisitions and correcting hedcounts cuts that were eventually realised as a huge mistake, this would not be the place you want to end up at - Department is managed by a non-corporate peson, who knows no better than playing sports than spearheading a team - Originally consisting more than 60 staff in the department - now slightly more than 10 - If you can speak well in the interview, you... *may* land the job, if you know the HOD, you *WILL* land the job.

    Rat an das Management

Recognize, promote and change the HOD asap. Business won't be able to operate if their current department head, who doesn't know how to retain people and secure the operations.

    Pros

I honestly cannot understand why people always complain. True, there is lots to do but hello! Would you pay people for nothing?!? The atmosphere is great, the job is great! you do not really need a PHD to be able to do it. Logic and brain but nothing too difficult! I feel great working here!

    Kontras

Probably the pay is a bit lower than Cork city but we are not in Cork City - beautiful Clon put your hands up!!!!

    Rat an das Management

Can we have classes or a gym membership paid 50%??? Healthy mind in healthy body!!! Pleaseeee!
