Ich arbeite in Vollzeit bei MindGeek

    Pros

    - Laid back atmosphere
    - A great work-life balance
    - Friendly colleagues, mostly in their 30's
    - Lower to middle management is full of nice and empathic people, under the constant pressure of the upper management consisting mostly of undereducated, incompetent and nepotistic idiots
    - You are always loaded, but never overloaded with tasks
    - Free coffee, drinks, breakfast, gym allowance
    - Internships, plenty of carreer starter positions

    Kontras

    - A self-described "market leader", who is constantly laying off hundreds of people and closing offices from one day to another "to maintain the position of the company on the market". Here you will experience the uncertainty of your job on a daily level, no matter on what level are you performing. They closed two offices in a couple of months, and their aren't really denying that the third closure is right on the doorstep.
    - Nepotism. In the upper management everyone is related to each other, and that means that you will never ever achieve a higher position if you aren't a family member or a childhood friend of a boss in Canada or in Cyprus. Simultaneously, in case you are a family member, this will grant you a manager position even if you don't have a clue about the work of the department you are leading.
    - Unability to change, to develop any service. Refusal of any new ideas, lack of understanding the new trends, absolutely no motivation to create something new. Their mantra is: "Yes, your idea is great. But we won't make it real, since we haven't done anything like this before."
    - Absolutely no place to achieve your goals, no place for personal development. Unprofessionality on its peak.
    - Moving every operations on the American continent to Canada and in Europe to Cyprus. So you'd better make friends with the harsh weather or the heat. If you want to stay with the company, you will end up there. but just if you are considered a loyal person and someone in the upper management thinks your knowledge is too important to be just laid off.

    Rat an das Management

Seriously, guys, everyone knows that the job market on Cyprus is extremely small but does that mean that you have to hire semi-illiterate people who work for peanuts to do the work of highly qualified people who cost just a bit more elsewhere, so the upper management can retain their seats? This will lead to a catastrophe, I told you.

Ich arbeite in Vollzeit bei MindGeek (Über 5 Jahre)

    Pros

Mindgeek is a great place to work while learning many aspects of Internet Marketing. The focus and support for employee development is above average with numerous incentives to gain new skills that will help employees move up within the ranks rather than look elsewhere.

    Kontras

There are a lot of opportunities to grow your knowledge and it would be also great to have ability to do some external training.

Ich arbeite in Vollzeit bei MindGeek (Über 3 Jahre)

    Pros

This is one the best places for individuals who are self-motivated and want to express their skills. Also very easy to create a great work/life balance unlike other places that may require lots of OT or weekend work.

    Kontras

Hard to find major cons, there are little annoying things here and there, but nothing major that stands out.

    Pros

Incredible people and a very relaxed atmosphere that is conducive to productivity. Great place to learn cutting edge digital marketing techniques.

    Kontras

Not necessarily a con since the office is situated between 2 subway stations but if you insist on driving in, parking spaces are limited and you will be on a waiting list for a while.

    Pros

Fun place to work. A dynamic company where there is a lot to learn and there are plenty of resources to guide you and create a lasting career path. Great perks available, like an annual gym allowance, and access to “LinkedIn learning”.

    Kontras

The system to book a conference room is always a challenge to use.

Ich habe in Vollzeit bei MindGeek gearbeitet (Über 3 Jahre)

    Pros

    - Great people to work with
    - Depending on your skillset and attitude, there can be a lot of opportunities to grow within
    - The parties are amazing
    - Flex hours is good for work/life balance
    - Decent perks (free parking, free daily breakfast, gym allowance, tuition reimbursement, etc)

    Kontras

    - Non-competitive wages
    - Raises are ok, but if you want anything significant you either have to be a huge asset or find a job at another company.
    - CEO has said in a past meeting that:
    1. He doesn't believe in working from home. I believe this will hurt them in the long run to have this mentality.
    2. MindGeek pays their employees 'fair'.
    - Nepotism is still an issue, but has decreased throughout the years
    - Lack of mentorship
