    Pros

    Since there are so few employees, junior level employees are able to take on higher level positions and begin strategizing as an AC, AAE or AE. Employees are forced to take on higher responsibilities, so all in all, it is a great learning experience in a great neighborhood!

    Higher up's never take responsibility for actions, often placing the blame on lower level employees or those who are not even on the accounts. They also over delegate responsibilities so that they themselves never have to work, or deem certain responsibilities as "below their pay grade." Aside from the major issues (terrible benefits, minimal PTO, long hours, bonuses under $100, minimum pay, refusing to approve... overtime to employees who are eliglble [making under 58k], overworking, etc.), the CEO and COO do not care about their employees. When the fridge was broken for two weeks, they did not reimburse employees who had to buy lunch or provide meals. When there was an explosion on the street, they did not let employees WFH. So many other issues - hot water broken, toilet broken, fruit flies. The CEO and COO are completely self absorbed and unaware that the employees are miserable. They constantly talk about fixing the culture and refuse to acknowledge that they are the problem. No wonder KK has constant turnover with no potential hires.

    Rat an das Management

    Find your brand/niche. Stop selling yourselves as an "elevated living" company when you take on clients simply for money. Listen to employees and respect employees. Understand that there must remain a work/life balance. If the CEO and COO take off two weeks every other month, understand that its ok if an employee takes a sick day (because they are sick!). Also stop screaming Hi Hello Hey when you walk in - it is... distracting and frustrating to employees. You are not a celebrity.

    Pros

    Because of how understaffed the agency is, all employees including the entry level ones get huge amounts of responsibility so this is good for those who want industry experience to get it.

    Kontras

    The owner is obnoxiously loud, fake and hung up on the past. Constantly brags about accomplishments from years ago without realizing how few the agency has had since. Walks in literally shouting everyday for attention as if she's a celebrity and staff are her fans and thinks screaming "HI HEY HOW ARE YOU HI!!!" to every single person in the office makes her seem like a "caring" leader when it really just shows her... lack of self awareness.

    Pros

    This agency has a great team, full of smart people with a lot of energy. The clients are also great, a mix of industry types and really important leaders helping people live better lives. We are in the mix with a lot of innovators in their respective fields. It’s a chance to learn from them. It’s inspiring.

    I don’t have anything that particularly comes to mind. Every workplace has issues, but here there was nothing really worth noting. Management treats everyone with respect.

    Pros

    I’ve been working at Krupp for several years and really love my job. Part of what I really like is that compared to other agencies where I’ve worked, Krupp offers an excellent opportunity showcase you talent if you are willing to put in the effort. In my time here, I’ve been able to introduce and implement new ideas that despite my not being a member of the senior leadership team were heard and became part of... systems to improve workflow. I also really like that the company regularly tends to long-term visioning and goal setting.

    Being a smaller sized agency, sometimes you are called upon to help in areas that may not be your core competency. Sometimes it feels like we are spread thin, but I also understand that creates a great opportunity to grow.

    Pros

    The office is calm and friendly. Its a nice place to work with a great team of people. The people here genuinely like each other and care about helping and supporting each other as a team. The open atmosphere gives you the opportunity to flaunt your skill and show your ambition towards PR. The team is encouraged to be creative and always told by management to look to learn new things. The focus here is on... achieving results and being accountable, working hard for success and ultimately getting great outcomes for the clients. The company has been in business successfully creating winning PR campaigns for almost 20 years. That says a lot.

    Some of biggest PR projects or clients sometimes go to larger agencies that often are no more qualified than this firm. Owners sometime reward and try to hard to help those under achieving employees see their vision.

    Pros

    Krupp is a great agency focused on really adding value and delivering results for its clients. The company has clients which enhance people's lives in a variety of meaningful ways. The work is rewarding and there is a nice friendly family like environment. Work hours are reasonable and the team cares a lot about each other. If you have a positive attitude and genuinely put yourself into your work you'll be rewarded... with spot bonuses or promotions. The company also has a great program which pays for employee personal development. Benefits are also great. There are nice group activities and offsite events that create ways for the team to connect outside work. Sadly, some employees that don't perform at their jobs that get fired post negative things here which are not true so don't believe everything you read. Krupp really is a great company with a team of friendly creative staff that work well together on projects that make a difference in people's lives.

    At times some of the smaller clients working to build their brands can be very passionate and close to their vision and become demanding. In a few cases managing expectations can take some fitness. But this seems to be also part of the industry in general. When clients are so mission driven like many of the Krupp clients are the focus on enhancing lives with innovation can be an all Consuming mission.
