    Pros

    I feel I am getting paid well and better than anywhere else I have worked. Inspira provides tuition reimbursement which is definitely appreciated. My manager is so understanding and is like family. I feel blessed to be part of Inspira.

    I see a lot of reviews about discrimination against the older crowd. On my team, I feel because I am younger and newer, I am doubted and overlooked. I understand these folks come with experience, but when I suggested new ideas I was pulled to the side by supervisor. I offended someone. I was told I only get more done because I am faster on a computer. Basically what I am trying to get at is, what's right is right. Personal relationships need to be put to the side when it comes to business. I know relationships have been built over the years, but it's about getting the job done and bringing the bucks in. Cut the favoritism.

    Pros

    Low cost benefits, some autonomy

    No systematic support. HR for the company, not employees. Was overworked and asked to do more far more than my job description required, which is fine if there are incentives. No incentives to do better, make progress, create outcomes. Recruitment is under qualified to do their job and management often complains about them sending over resumes that are not matches for the job description. Peter's Principle exists to the max. Don't expect to get in unless you know someone. Benefits are cheap, but if you are a sick person who needs quality care outside of the area (Inspira Physicians), expect to pay a lot of money. Their preferred network is only Inspira, which is becoming more and more newly hired residents out of their own academic program. I could go on..

    Advice to leadership- invest in leadership training for your management. Your employees don't work efficiently because they are not happy and have no incentive to do-so. There is no motivation, no empowerment. Pieces of paper with a sunshine, smile and "thank you" are hardly incentives to do better. Wonder why your employees take advantage of FMLA and PTO etc? It's because your managers are doing it too. Your mission statement and core values are just words for show. Do a survey and see how many employees even know what your core values are. Required meetings with slide shows, paperwork etc is not the way to get your employees to give more. Get personal. Make relationships. Your analytical employees are excellent with numbers and your finances are wonderful. Your marketing department does a wonderful job at making it look like a great place for to work and receive care. You can manipulate numbers to make yourself look wonderful. You can't manipulate an employee to do well or care. Find empathy. Get rid of health stream. No one is learning from it. It's busy work at the end of the year. Figure out what your entry level employees are actually doing during the day and try to understand it. Take concerns seriously.

    Can't think of any pro's for this company.

    Kontras

    People and management are abusive, self center etc. total lack of communication and structure. Pay is not very good. Stay away and keep searching, not worth your time at all.

    Get new managers that are more people oriented and know how to communicate all aspects, expectations assignments, respond to email on a timely basis. Just a nasty place from A to Z!
