    Pros

    This is a great place to work, with good people and a focus on doing the right thing for our Customers. The best thing is that there is a relentless pursuit to continue to improve. The Trust Pilot score is a good indicator of this improvement and focus, with the year to date score >9 and the all time score improving to 8.6. Significant systems changes are in-flight and nearing completion, which will deliver improvements for both Customers and employees.

    The Walsall head office is not always the easiest to get to, due to the West Midlands transport network and the delightful M6 junction 10.

    A great company to work for that has a clear idea of where it's going and what it takes to get there but understands how challenging that can be. Tries to put People first and full of good intent.

    Kontras

    The pace of change is frenetic and won't suit all and delivering change at speed means it can feel not as well managed as it could be. There's an expectation that managers own things normally done by HR teams which can make employee experiences different, not always for the good.

    Take the time to understand the impact change has at all levels and try to equip managers with what they need to communicate effectively.

    Pros

    The company has the needs of its people and its customers at heart. There have been so many improvements over the last few years, but we can now look forward to some major new systems which should make our jobs easier, and make the service better for customers. Also a great working environment. It feels like the most exciting times are ahead of us and we can get even better on all fronts.

    Pros

    Constant change and lots of great projects to get involved in.
    The people who work hard, get stuff done, keep positive and drive change succeed here. I’m four years in doing a job I would never have dreamed I would get and every day is different.
    We really look after everyone.
    We genuinely whole heartedly care for our Customers.

    Kontras

    The change and challenge is relentless, which some people don’t excel or cope well in. Those people can be blockers or slow things down. But it’s good to see that the Exec seem better at spotting this and acting on it now.
    The catering provision, toilets and general environment in Walsall needs investment its tired, the cleaners, catering staff and facilities team do an amazing job but we need to spend money on upgrades.

    Authentic culture of putting our People first so that they put our Customers first.
    Inspirational CEO, who truly lives his open-door philosophy.
    Small enough business that you can really make a difference, yet big enough that that difference really matters ... and the opportunities really are global.
    Untapped potential is huge.
    Currently making some really tough decisions to transform the business for the long-term good (of our People, Customers and shareholders), and facing head-first into the short-term pain.

    For a results-driven business, the worst BI of any business I’ve ever worked in.
    Really poor at change & transformation management.

    This is a great place to work. Good work life balance, great people at all levels and very good benefits.

    Being such a large organisation it’s difficult to introduce much needed change. The general facilities could do with a bit of improvement.

    Tough decisions made recently but reduction in senior leaders should make decision making faster, more focused on key priorities - much needed but still more to be done. Focus on the processes and people above the technology as the latter will only generate benefits of the former two are in place and functioning. Don't lose the things which made Homeserve a great place to work in tough times.
