      - The people. Best group of colleagues I've ever worked with. - Great vacation allotment - Fun environment working in the beer industry

      Lack of direction/direction changed every 6 weeks starting in October 2018 Insurmountable loss of market share and brand relevance. Bonuses convoluted, impossible to hit. Company doesn't want to pay out when you do meet your KPIs if they were losing money in another part of the country. Marketing pushes programs around "growth" trends like soccer and boxing, with no quantifiable ROI from investing in these programs....

      Though Heineken is a pleasant company to work at they are in need of much change. Even though they have cut 15% of the sales workforce, management is the worst. First managers who were on the job were demoted and stayed in the company.       Maggie, look at your managers and management on all levels. Also as well managers who were just demoted. They are out of touch and do not know how to sell properly. Also as well EOE is waste of time. Just like the Freddie app. Get rid of the SEM app.

      Paid weekly like clockwork. Plenty of opportunity for overtime hours during holidays and big weekends.

      Expected to work overtime through holidays and big weekends. Budgets were cut significantly when sales dropped resulting in jobs lost. Over 7yrs, pay rates did not increase while work loads did. New hires were paid the same as 10yr vets. Managers were hired from outside companies with zero knowledge of the brand, industry, teams, area, etc. while several qualified candidates were overlooked.

      Listen to your teams - they know more about the markets than computerized charts. Pay your staff appropriately and reward loyalty and experience. Trainers should earn more than the trainees. Hire from within the company. Experience with your brand and teams goes a long way.
