    Family friendly, flex-time for appointments, illness, available, easy going

    Pay. They start employees at the corporate level at the bare minimum. I mean bare minimum. And the store employees have their pay/commission structure changed so many times, it becomes nearly impossible for them to make money unless they start doing shady business or talking customers into buying things they absolutely don't need. It's sad.

    Stop paying everyone in the field the same wage no matter what part of the country they live in. A district manager in Idaho can probably live off of 50K a year household income, while someone living in New York cannot, yet that doesn't seem to matter to you. It's disheartening.

    Pros

    The company can pay very well if you are meeting your quotas and are very sales oriented. Commission structure is very clear for sales rep and can give you great bonuses for top sellers in your region/store profit category. Its sales so work hard grind hard and you will be compensated well.

    Kontras

    Management is very terrible. No support whatsoever. You can only rely on your pack which is the people in your store if the manager has created a great atmosphere. If you don't sell a certain product your commission is stripped away from you and you only make minimum wage. For example you could make the store $15000 in gross profit which would essentially give you 13% of that but if you do not sell a hum or tablet they take away all of that. Management is very unrealistic and aren't local so they never know what the communities are like. Training is horrendous. Unless your manager is doing his job training it is almost not there. Turnover rate is high. If you have a problem with your store good luck getting anyone to fix it. Our front door has been broken for months and someone almost robbed the store. They could care less about you as a human and only see you as a number which is typical in sales.

    Listen to your employees. Be sympathetic about people's every day lives. Work with your sales representatives as they are the people who make the company money. Dont strip away someone's hard earned money because 1 metric could not be met, we know your making money regardless.

    Working for the Name of Verizon. Selling someone on the best coverage was simple and easy and from day one when I switch from another company it was easy to sell.

    Well.....Title says it all really. I switch from a Management position to a Rep with intentions to get promoted. Found out the person who hired me promised said things was also talking down about me to upper management.

    Look at ones RESUME!!! If one has a Management Degree and has years in this field why would you know want to promote that person vs a person who has 0 training in said position and a drop out. Speaks Volume on the type of People they really promote.

    Pros

    Getting the title to add to your resume.
    The exec's are college buddies (need I say more) and most, if not all, upper managers above DMs are white men. Steer clear of this racist and gender biased place.

    Listen and talk to your employees, no matter their title. Don't just take the word of upper managers as their best interest is not always with the company.

    Pros

    Full time. In theory, easy work

    But if your manager doesn't care about you, you will not even get trained. The answer I got to "what does BIC stand for?" was, "I don't know we just switched from a new company, I don't know all their lingo yet." 3 months after the switch and Bill In Credit is very common and come to find out also used by the previous company. They will not train you, they will fire you after you don't meet sales goals after taking and letting other senior sales reps take your sales, they will dump you with all the non-commission work, including store management work(not my job,) and good luck getting a hold of HR after your fired. The work email is connected to the Ultipro accounts where all your sensitive information is stored, paychecks, W2s, current information and you will not be able to access it after you're let go. Nor will they contact you back. Also, they make money not by phones but through other sales, so if your against squeezing every last penny out of little old grandma's, you're SOL.
