Ich arbeite in Vollzeit bei Evergreen Systems (mehr als ein Jahr)
Pros
I wish I could say some positive things about this company but all I have done the past 2+ years that I have worked here is make excuses for them. The pay is decent but you will work lawyer hours for that pay.
Kontras
There are too many to list. They do not care about their employees - they pretend like they do but they will let go of you in a minute, I have seen it happen several times to coworkers and they will also get rid of you if the work dries out too. Management only looks to blame people instead of getting to the root cause of the issues the company has and they are losing customers left and right.
Rat an das Management
Take some accountability instead of blaming your employees. Be up front with your customers instead of promising them something that is impossible to deliver. Take care of your employees otherwise you will continue to lose them.

Pros
Great company with a great, open culture. CEO has done a fantastic job of navigating market changes, leading the company to migrate to the best new platforms despite the pain associated with that change. The company is 20 years old in an environment where most companies like it don't survive precisely because they are wedded to a strategy that doesn't flex with the market. Easy to get a rapid decision in support of both internal progress and in taking care of the customer. Employee feedback and thinking is sought and considered.
Kontras
Occasional business landslide may leave staff stretched. Not sure how you fix this though and remain prudent in expense management.
Rat an das Management
Stay largely on course....perhaps consider a further acquisition if one could be prudently identified to accelerate growth.

Pros
Great pay if you know how to negotiate
Flexible work hours
Kontras
No centralized knowledge base of resources. People are working on projects all over the world and theres no way to see if someone is working on something similar to you.
You will be cut as soon as a project finishes transition into operational status and replaced with an outsourced hire overseas. All the resources I've worked with on one particular project were fired or laid off within six months of completion.
Bad business practices. Management would quote off-shore and on-shore consulting rates for projects, and when customers would sign off on the on-shore rates, would ship the project offshore anyway to siphon more money from clients. Management would also tell customers that particular solutions needed to be custom programmed, despite having an in-house solution, "develop" a solution, and charge huge sums for products that needed little to no development.
Rat an das Management
If you're a member of senior management, you're doing great -- you have a high salary, and simply need to churn low cost overseas labor while pocketing the difference. I didn't think this was sustainable as a business model, but Evergreen Systems has proven me wrong.

6. Aug 2018 – CEO
I am sorry you are unhappy. I am the CEO, and I read and reply to every post.
I'd like to address your points. As to the hours worked per week, there are times when it is more based on a particular situation - but overall we average 40-45 hours per week. As to not caring for our employees - I heartily disagree. We are in the highly competitive ServiceNow consulting market, and our average employee tenure is 6.7 years, including our offshore team. There are also 7 current employees who were here at the start - over 20 years ago. We have a rigorous hiring process, but occasionally we do make a mis-hire, bringing someone on who can't do the work or doesn't have a personal commitment to excellence. We are not losing customers "left and right."
We are very careful not to promise customers something we cannot deliver. In fact, while sales controls the rates pricing for a proposal, the hours bid - for every proposal, are controlled by the services team. This mechanism was put in place over 15 years ago to ensure that services doesn't get a scope of work they can't deliver and that a customer doesn't get "over-promised."
If you are a current employee, I encourage you to call or e mail me so we can figure out what has happened. You can also approach HR confidentially so we can try to address your concerns.... MehrWeniger
