    Pros

    Good out of job training before starting to teach how to engage with customers if you aren't familiar with it. Bonus has now improved and is more realistic to hit. Good social wnviroment

    No till training prior to starting in store, literally nothing system related, so you figure out how to use a system that looks like DOS or teletext as you use it, resulting in many cases in customer issues, frustrations and general lack of support and confusion for a new colleague. Generally stores are meant to train you better but my experience wasn't good as there was such high management turnover that I was learning...

    It's a not bad job as a manager but they don't give much guidance on all the compliance. As I've been here so long I now have management some responsibilities I take on but without the pay. There is very little support from the Curry's side so myself and my current manager are literally still figuring out what need done, by when, what receipts we should actually keep, what we audit and when etc.

    - Really good pay with potential triple figure bonuses if you know how to sell - Paid training - Good opportunities to progress to management (but that's also problematic) - Usually staff are on same level as you - Good discount on own brand accessories

    - Ongoing training (not good for work life balance, and constantly busy on floor) - Constant pressure to sell and harass customers, even if you're hitting targets - High turn over rate and easily replacable - Rarely positive feedback despite how well you are doing ('you can always be doing better) - ANYONE can progress to management, they're like babies in suits with the attitudes and organisation - Often staff will...

    Please appericate your staff, just because you want a bigger bonus does not mean you can treat staff like garbage. Get proper training to do your job, do not go for management position for the extra month (make sure you can actually do the job or your store will fail). Also if all your staff are leaving, please evaluate why this may happen.

    My own personal experience working for this company was second to none. My manage,r Josh Chaimberlain-Legg went out of his way for me on multiple occasions to fit around my university life and to acustom to my needs.

    Don't allow people to progress to management roles before they are ready, I worked with some managers who were out of their depth due to their lack of experience in selling.

    Part of bonus is dependent on scores from customer feedback on their journey in the store and sometimes this is out of our control despite our best efforts.
