    12 years ago Crocs was not even a brand - now it is a 1.2 billion Company , it is hard to keep up all together and find the way to build the Organization and the Processes needed to bring Crocs to the Next Level a lot of motivation and time are required.

    Stick and Carrot leadership style, over the top micro-management and back stabbing culture, most recent round of executive management are all buddies and if you are not "in-the-circle" your name is probably on a RIF list somewhere, all in order for them to meet their bonus plans in a few years. The company should never have undertaken the SAP project which considerably drained funds way beyond what was originally... projected by a mere $60+ million, of course the companies new investors were pissed and leadership had to make up that miss. Terrible work ethics from leadership. Culture and morale was the epitome of living in fear day-in, day-out. The belief that skillsets out in Boston are better than those in the Denver area was BS, and the fact that members of the newly hired regime specifically stated they wanted to move to Boulder over staying in Boston shows that their thinking and justifications were flawed, they just didn't want to move. Hiring all their former colleagues and employees from Reebok to ensure they have smiling faces down below. A fact that did not go unnoticed as a "Cease and Desist" letter arrived threatening legal action for hiring any more. As an example of how messed up things were, the Boston leadership team got extremely bent out of shape when the corporate jet had maintenance issues and they couldn't be picked up to fly out for the Super Bowl game, where the company has a suite. How many employees lost their jobs in 2014 and 2015 to cover that? The leadership in Boston has no clue, what was once a great fun, high potential brand has become nothing more than their golden parachute and they scramble to make fill their pockets by stepping all over those that built the company.

    Get real, realize your best company asset is your employees, if your employees are not happy your customers will know. Why not tell the people how much expense is actually wasted as you fly people back and forth from Boston, and drive that new Subaru the company bought for you Gregg. The board should just be dissolved and Blackstone should take direct control, step out from behind the curtain and cease being the... puppet masters.

    Pros

    Free shoes. Real life lessons in how NOT to lead and manage a company. If you are interested in watching a company implode because of egos and personal agendas, this is the perfect place for you.

    Extremely poor leadership who do not lead by example. They fill all key posts with their cronies either from Reebok or Tommy Hilfiger, with many lacking the necessary qualifications and experience. Case in point - Asia Region Management Team is staffed mainly by Brits with limited knowledge of how to lead in Asia. No interest in collaboration, understanding on the ground challenges or doing the right thing. Only... interested in protecting their expatriate lifestyles and flying business class everywhere. Even worse, they paid themselves a special bonus when nobody else got a bonus because of millions of dollars in bad debt write offs. Would rather spend money on limousine transfers and fancy hotel suites than on employee development. Very short term view and no strategy whatsoever. People who are strong performers (based on hard KPIs and business results) are fired for no reason. In short, the people at the top have no idea how to lead and manage, but way too arrogant to admit it!

    Lots of opportunity for new business experiences. High energy, friendly, youthful group of employees creates a fun environment to work in.

    Lack of long term vision / business strategy adds to the chaotic environment. The management team does not operate in support of a long term vision.

    Established $1b+ global brand with a healthy balance sheet. Innovative and compelling products breaking the CROCS stereotype mold offering 4 season silhouettes for the entire family for all wearing occasions. Healthy Global retail and wholesale footprint. Brand recognition continues to grow with consumers as the company looks to expand in broader channels. Good work life balance, every other Friday off, 2 week... closure at Christmas time. Healthy interest in employee development and growth. Expanded growing programs offer a wide breadth of training and professional development. Great people/colleagues who are smart, hard working and innovative daily - who "find their fun" everyday. Is a fast paced, challenging and rewarding environment. You won't be bored! Blackstone Investment of $200MM+ in the company is a testament to the brands potential. Impending new CEO and senior leadership adjustments will take the brand into the next phase of the organizations success in a very positive way. Lots of good things still to come...beautiful pace to live.

    Stratospheric growth has made it challenging for process and systems to keep up with the growth of the organization. There are pain points int these areas to effectively execute strategic vision at times. Regionalized teams create silos which can impede alignment on global strategic initiatives. Current leadership meddling and non compliance enforcement complicates & muddies pre-alinged strategies. Legacy... employees can struggle with new vision and strategy to take the company forward.

    Fill the ranks with consumer goods, footwear and retail pros. To bring the company to $2B will need an entirely different leadership strategy with pros that understand this business and have the vision to grow it. Not tech/electronic visionaries need apply. Time to hand the reigns over to the next generations leaders of the brand through empowerment and limited politics. Think with Blackstone's involvement,... board veto power this ultimately will be the case and for those of us that are loyal to the brand this very exciting indeed.

    Great Brand with enormous potential

    Senior Management and middle management are deathly afraid of CEO, and manage accordingly. The company is paralyzed with fear and very little happens to day to day because of the bad behavior and bullying of the CEO and some of his right hand men. Sad.
