    Rat an das Management

    Compensation and benefits need to be increased. Do not say it is "competitive" and ignore it. It is insulting that employees are struggling to afford rent or pay medial bills and the company decides to have our town hall at a private car museum. The executive team will bring in food for their closed door meetings, but only toss a few large bags of dry cereal out on the break room table for the employees for the week.

    Some of the best minds in the industry work here. CivicPlus is an incredible education and can help shape your career if you're willing to humbly improve yourself, daily.

    Professional/emotional immaturity - many are here for the culture, rather than the work itself. Talking the talk vs. walking the walk. Time in career will provide a reality check for some, but CivicPlus can't afford to be the stepping stone for so many of these individuals. Hire up. Don't settle just to fill seats in the less-desired roles.

    Evolve the overall "right fit" standards. Expect more from a soft-skills perspective while not compromising on talent. The greatest minds with the worst attitudes can (and do) cause the loss of more all-around/long-term valuable employees. Weed out professional and emotional immaturity.     They had great benefits including insurance, PTO, snacks and more. They give you plenty of training to successfully perform your job and there are opportunities to move up.

    I felt the pay was low for the amount of pressure placed on the BDS team. How they gave bonuses changed and was not a benefit for the employee.

    Management will make or break the company. It's awesome to have good people in those positions but it would help if they were also a good manager. You can be a good person but not be good at managing. I feel most people want a manager that will stand behind their team and encourage them and appreciate them when a job is well done.

      Great pay, great benefits, very flexible work schedule. They allow you to work with manly new technologies and give you the training to keep up to date with the ever changing world of software engineering. The work from home policy is great as well.
