Ich arbeite seit mehr als 10 Jahren bei Catholic Health Initiatives (Vollzeit)

    Pros

A faith based, patient and community focused employer that lives the mission. Your faith is allowed to be woven into the fabric of the culture.

    Kontras

More people need to know about how wonderful this place really is!

    Rat an das Management

The specialness of CHI is the adherence to its CORE values. Stay on that path with the unknowns ahead.

    Pros

    Kontras

Crazy expectations!!! Micro Management / Bullying / Playground mentality. God awful hours! $2 for on call?!

    Rat an das Management

Pray that God is really not vengeful. Your management is why you lose the best people.

    Pros

The people that work for CHI are as good as anywhere. But leadership reminds me of a dysfunctional alcoholic family....enabling each other so they keep their positions. But most are afraid to speak up against each other even in truth

    Kontras

The Cons are explained in the Pros

    Rat an das Management

Be loyal to the ones that make you look good...under you.

    Pros

Good people working in the trenches

    Kontras

Executives are out of touch, and use consultants to make their decisions...

    Rat an das Management

Move out, and let someone who knows large enterprise management have the job.

Ich arbeite bei Catholic Health Initiatives ()

    Pros

    Salary and benefits

    Kontras

I have read most of the other recent reviews and all of them are accurate. Unethical management practices Consultants hired into leadership roles who are not qualified to meet basic job requirements. Minimal opportunities for career advancement. Leadership ignores the Core Values of the organization. Managers and Directors lack integrity, compassion, and excellence. Layoffs continue with minimal communication... from leadership. CHI is calling it "Turnaround". It's a continuous cycle of layoffs, hiring contractors, hiring FT employees, cutting contractors, cutting employees. Morale is at an all-time low Reactive not proactive leadership.

    Rat an das Management

Pay closer attention to the managers and directors who are dead weight and should be let go before the hard working employees who are keeping the company afloat. Unethical practices need to be investigated.

Ich arbeite seit mehr als 3 Jahren bei Catholic Health Initiatives (Vollzeit)

    Pros

Best reason to work there is to get experience in healthcare. And if you want to see what it's like to work in an organization that claims to be christian. Great experience finding out what work at a hypocritical organization is like. Honeymoon's over very quickly if you have good skills and experience. Great place if you have few skills have no experience sorting through smoke and mirrors. BELIEVE the negative... reviews. The positive reviews must come from hospitals int he system and not national office.

    Kontras

Witness the St. Peter Principle in action. It is just the peter principle with a supposedly christian theme pounded in constantly that the company adheres to reverence, integrity, compassion and excellence. Might be true for the care delivered. Certainly NOT TRUE on how employees are treated, especially in IT. Managers bully and get by with it. Good employees worked to the core and never rewarded. Only Director or... above get more than cost of living, even though asked to take on more and more responsibility. And you will hear thank you constantly, but that's it, just the words.

    Rat an das Management

Internal reviews keep pointing out that management needs to walk the walk it talks. But management knows they are all saints. So they give little credence to employee reviews. HR is gutless.

„It has been taken over by Outsourcing”

    Pros

Some of the benefits are decent.

    Kontras

The leadership has become full of consultants who are on the boards of Consulting companies and the outsourcing of so many divisions to offshore companies has made the entire infrastructure of the company collapse. There is none left. Nobody seems to care or has any vested interest in improving the company, the morale or the efficiency. It is very difficult to get teamwork going.

    Rat an das Management

Stop the outsourcing and save money by cutting out the "fluff" in the company and the rampant travel you are paying for consultants.
