    Good work-private life balance: relaxed work environment: no risk of burn out here! At 5.30pm at the latest everybody is out all lights shut down in the office. International and family like atmosphere. Some employees have been working in the company for +10 years. The management is quite friendly, honest and open to constructive exchanges. Nice colleagues overall even though not a lot of cross team collaborations and projects. The sales country teams work well: nice atmosphere and helpful colleagues. It can be a good sales school if you have a jr profile looking for a SDR/BDR job to do outbound sales. You will receive a lot of support from your team to do it. Opportunity to work with an interesting range of industries. Leading company in the sector of b2c database producers/sellers. Special highlight to the HR department which is extremely efficient. A few interesting company events occur every year like a ski trip in Austria

    Way too shy with business transformation and innovation. This seriously threatens the future of the company. This critical situation makes it not attractive to work for at the moment. The top management is aware of it and barely struggle. Some attempts to develop new business projects over the last years have miserably failed. The main reason looks like they hope to create a new cash machine with minimal investment and the fastest possible. That just cannot work. Lack of strategic thinking in general. Motivation among the employees is low. The mindset is very much "wait and see". Too few doers and too many followers. Not a very stimulating work environment. The company main activity - which is getting consumer data through their own contest websites (pages like "Win a iPhone", an electric bike etc) and sell the personal data of the participants to call centers to do outbound telemarketing or to e-mailers - is fatally decreasing year after year. Less and less companies need this or do customer acquisition this way. Few perspectives of business development as long as the product remains the same! It's more that you are struggling to keep the existing clients! More and more difficult to reach your sales targets and get your bonus. Also the bad reputation the sector is stuck into for many years is worrying (even though the business is 100% legal and GDPR compliant). More and more legal issues arise to keep on operating in some countries. I invite you to check out the Google reviews of the company. (the 5 * have been given by eGentic employees!). In a nutshell: probably the least interesting sector I have worked for. Boring as boring can be. It is not attracting talents anymore. Not to mention the very few career opportunities within the company. Salaries are ok. Decent if you live with your partner having an income too, but definitely not enough if you live alone in Frankfurt. Bear that in mind before making the move. Also no possibility of 100% remote work. The current norm is 3 days at the office and 2 at home.
