    Ich habe für mehr als ein Jahr bei XMA gearbeitet (Vollzeit)

    Pros

    * No weekend work (although you WILL be expected to manage an inbox receiving around 800 emails every day so kiss goodbye to your evenings if you want to keep your head above water; this being XMA's definition of being "flexible") * FREE water * FREE car park * At face value, a reasonable basic salary (£27k for Internal Account Manager's). Be wary though, to get anywhere near your monthly target (and... commission) you will have to work all of the hours in a day.

    * Tantamount to zero communication between each department * No processes to follow * Convoluted order processing system (JBA) which isn't integrated with their CRM (quotes are prepared on basic Excel spreadsheets) * Outbound call KPI's to develop new business accounts and grow existing - fighting a losing battle. Spend two hours per day on the phone and you'll fall four hours behind with inbound emails or... demanding clients who have urgent requirements * Held personally liable by the Management for any deals that fall through * A prevalent culture of bullying from the top down (stemming, mainly, from the Managing Director) * XMA doesn't know itself what its USP actually is (price, services, enterprise, software, hardware etc.) * Out of a desk of 12 Internal Account Manager's, none earned any commission during the 12 months I was there * I personally suffered a mental breakdown as a result of working here

    Rat an das Management

    * Invest in your loyal people who can do the job and are your biggest asset * Cut middle management * Decide on a USP that doesn't rely on shifting 50,000 cheap and nasty Viglen units per year

    You get out of it what you put in. Work hard and you get the rewards.

    As others have said, communication is needing work. That said it is getting better all the time and XMA keep on improving in all areas.
