    Pros

    There are a hundreds of absolutely dedicated people working there who do the best they can in their jobs, despite the obstacles that management put in their way. It's like they don't understand that they deserve better from their employer.

    Kontras

    Management are argumentative, disorganised, misguided and dillusional. They have a grand plan for what the company will look like 3-5 years down the line, most of which is entirely fictional, but won't tell anyone how they plan to get there and can't or won't support their staff with handling the day to day challenges which are causing the stress in the here and now. If you want to watch the management team... celebrate prematurely about an amazing 'idea' they have had while you are working long hours, failing to achieve unreasonable targets and struggling to stay upbeat for the sake of your team and everyone around you, go and work for Towergate!

    Start rewarding the good people you have and reeping the benefits of their existing knowledge to achieve what you want to achieve. Too many good people have walked out the doors of Towergate breathing a sigh of relief and it really is the company's loss much more than it is theirs. All people need is some clear direction and prioritisation from the management of their area; with all areas on the same page trying to... work towards a common goal. Simply saying 'Right everyone, lets increase profit by 100% ... off you go!' is not enough and is the reason why Towergate will never achieve its goals in future if this poor management technique is allowed to continue. Specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time-bound - go back to basics and engage with the people you have left while you still can.

    The people, opportunity to develop (if you want to), regular feedback from management and development for those that work for it.

    Kontras

    As a DE hours can be long with the Telford office's territory covering most of England and Wales, the car allowance could be a little more generous for the mileage.

    Pros

    Hard work is rewarded and recognised. Opportunities to progress into more diverse roles than you would find in a standard brokerage. Flexible working environment when required and good benefits including access to remote working equipment. When times are tough directors and managers all muck in, even doing the most mundane of tasks.

    Heavy workload for some teams but conducive with business success
