Company is lacking direction. Decsions made at upper levels are not working at operational levels. They are trying to remediate it things now but it is literally a dutch boy sticking fingers in the dam for daily workflows. Think about how how margins were processed in 1992. This is how things are still done at Societe Generale today. The battleship is turning slowly. It makes the least amount of money in the bank, therefore it gets the least amount of money in the bank. If you like doing manual processing ala 1992, this is the place for you. Grind it out if you can handle the monotomy and lack of creativity and poor management and this job is gravy.
