Pros
Lots of opportunities if you're in the right group. Tons of training opportunities. Good benefits. Good discounts (cell, cars, misc purchases). Good starting vacation for new hires. Fully vested 401k (or at least was when I was there). Usually saw a yearly pay increase.
Kontras
no longer offers a pension for non-union employes (I was near the end of them offering that). Not all departments are great, but if you have talent, you can move out of a bad situation pretty easily. Bonuses are rare.
