    Close to where I live If you are a butt kisser you will go far Supposedly the benefits, but other civil service orgs have better

    No career prospects Not valued for experience Not listened to when have opinion based on experience Serious bullying from senior managers No care about health and well being Ineffective HR department, don't even deal with serious breaches of conduct, just have informal meetings and expect things to 'go away' Don't uphold civil service principles of honesty and integrity Do not know how to help or protect... staff - if you raise an issue you are the problem No autonomy Favourites get away with anything (good luck if you are one of these) If you have a brain, balls or creativity you will have you soul sucked from you You will feel like you are back at school...

    Maybe you should learn from other government departments how they treat their employees, this is the worst culture in an organisation I have ever been in. Given bullying happens from the highest level, some people really need to look in the mirror.

    flexible working arrangements, not much else

    Kontras

    Gross inefficiency and inconsistency on how staff and contractors and projects are treated, lots of bullying and favoritism at the top with bias towards public sector organisations (university and other government departments) and harassment and intimidation of others, constant undermining of professional credibility, left hand not talking to the right hand, contractors consistently blamed for internal team issues,... workload pass the buck culture.

    The organisation claims to support innovation and business growth but its own processes and paperwork are the antithesis of innovation - despite a broad awareness of this throughout the organisation, there is little motivation to change, with added bureacracy becoming the norm slowing down not speeding up innovation. advice to management is - please employ senior staff that actually have appropriate industry... experience and understand how business works instead of ex-public sector bureaucrats who only care about process and not delivery.
