    Pros

Great coworkers on a peer level. Seriously, the only reason a lot of people survive the support organization. Despite a ton of issues (just read previous reviews), it seems like senior leadership is finally listening and willing to make changes...if they follow through. IF you can survive support, there are options, but career paths are pretty vague here and you don't really know what you need to have before... you apply for other stuff so it can get tricky and discouraging to try to get out of support.

    Kontras

Low pay. They recently completely a study about compensation and rearranged everything into "bands" and "paths"...but no specifics about actual compensation were released and the bands/paths rarely actually fit your job duties and they won't tell you what the salary range for your job (or any other job) actually is, but they'll claim they're paying everyone "fairly" and at "market rate" or whatever. They point to... catered meals, snack closets that are often empty, and other "benefits" as making up for the lack of pay. I would definitely rather be paid what I'm really worth instead of getting meals twice a week. The St. Louis office is literally falling apart and even though we've been promised a new space for...the last 2-3 years at least? Still isn't happening. Oh, and we have to pay for parking in the middle of the business district, so kiss more money goodbye from your paycheck. Zero training for anyone interested in a leadership position. There's apparently some super awesome training program once you're *in* leadership, but not before, so if you get put on a team with a brand new supervisor....strap in, it's gonna be a bumpy ride. After a bunch of bad reviews on here, senior management launches a bunch of new programs and makes all sorts of promises about how things are going to change, for real this time, and it'll get better and they're really listening...but every time before now they haven't kept their promises. This time some pretty cool things have been introduced and a lot of the new people are excited and hopeful, but it's hard to be hopeful that anything will change when you've seen this happen before and nothing has made a difference. Still not enough women in leadership. Yeah, we get that it takes a while, but it'll take even longer when you can't seem to retain the employees you have now.

I know the general response to these reviews is to encourage the reviewer to contact someone at the company in an upper-level management position. If we felt safe doing that, or felt like you'd actually listen, we wouldn't be leaving anonymous reviews on Glassdoor. Leadership is totally out of touch. With support, with anyone outside of the Boston office, with anyone who isn't a white male. That's understandable,... and honestly, you guys seem like genuinely nice people, but you just don't get what it's like. We work our butts off for our customers, and the numbers show it. In return, we're underpaid and unappreciated. It's not enough to just throw a few programs at us. You need to shift the culture. You need to actually make support feel like PART of the company, and a valued part. Instead we hear every quarter about how much money you're making and how much the company is growing while we are underpaid and overworked. Practice what you preach. The core values get harped on constantly but you don't live it. Give us specifics. Give us time frames, and actually stick to them. Be transparent. Communicate frequently and in detail. Participate with us in meaningful ways that let us connect with you instead of feeling like you're hovering over our shoulder waiting for us to screw up. Overall? Leadership continues to disappoint. Maybe this time it'll be different, but I won't hold my breath. My coworkers are literally the only reason I'm still here.

    Pros

Bullhorn was an incredible place to start or grow a career. You're surrounded by smart, driven, and accountable people, who are committed to the company and customer. There is a genuine culture that goes beyond the standard office perks and the leadership team is aligned and transparent.

    Kontras

Benefits are great but company needs to work on compensation vs market to attract/retain the talent they desire.

    Rat an das Management

Continue to be transparent on company performance and strategy. Invest internally on people and infrastructure as well as growing revenue.
