    Pros

    Openwork environment and great for extroverts who enjoy interacting with alot of new people on a regular basis. Provides a rushing during peak times and can be really busy.

    Kontras

    Lack of employee appreciation and acknowledgement for hard work. There is no standard system for all BP employees, each franchise is different.

    Pay for attention to employee appreciation. Despite having mostly part-time employees, they are still valuable members of the team and need to feel appreciated as they sometimes work fulltime hours which are long and tiring

      The main pro from this job was the people at each Boston Pizza location I worked at over the years.

      Kontras

      The pay is low (less than minimum wage), and the tips are lower than other restaurants due to quality of food and kitchen errors. Owners are hard on management and there isn't a lot of flexibility in order to boost sales.

      Being flexible and empathetic with your staff goes a long way. Positive feedback should be at the core of management in order to decrease turn-over rate.
