    Pros

The on boarding process ("launchpad") at Benevity is great! Loved having the opportunity to gain some insights from individual's in various roles and at various levels of the organization. Also was great to have a little crew of newbies to stomp around the office with during week one! Overall the orientation process was a great way to become familiarized with the company, facility and team members.

    Kontras

Not sure I am cool enough to work here!!! Being surrounded by amazing folks is not the worst problem to have though ;)

Our group had some mixed messages sent out in our welcome emails, so having that standardized across the group would be super helpful! Would also be great to have parking information included in that email for those who don't know the surrounding area. Finally, we had difficulty accessing some of the applications used by the organization through Okta - the issue was sorted quite quickly but just a note for the... future!

    Pros

It's a company with a purpose to make the world a better place Some pros include: - Allows dogs in the office - Some fantastic people here - Volunteer and giving opportunities - Free Yoga, meditation sessions at lunch - 4 weeks vacation

    Kontras

    - The company needs to improve on identifying, enabling and utilizing employees' full potentials. Most if not all employees love the company but they might not be satisfied with their job duties if their potentials are not utilized.

As a company grows, it becomes difficult to maintain the company's core values. Although it is not perfect but Benevity has been doing fairly good so far comparing to many other companies of the same size. It will be more and more difficult as Benevity scales up but please keep doing the right thing and never forget about Benevity's purposes.

    Pros

Great working culture: dogs in the office, flexible working hours, autonomy over work, mental health awareness sessions, leadership training, weekly business updates from senior management Strong emphasis on group collaborative problem solving and cross-functional working groups in leadership roles Comprehensive benefits package with 4 weeks paid vacation to start Passionate about the purpose of the... organization and employee base reflects talented, driven professionals

    Kontras

On-the-job training is underdeveloped for new hires in certain areas of Client Success High expectations of education level for entry-level roles but compensation does not match credentials/experience Subcultures created in each team changing the core culture of the business as new people are hired and precedents for bad behaviour are established Categorization of large working groups in client success as... “teams” to the extent that there is no possibility for a shared identity for a group of 15+. This dilutes the key outcomes desired by management as the smaller teams are not able to relate to the bigger purpose Lack of transparency at the management level, eroding trust further down the chain and putting team leaders in difficult position as their members are frustrated and surprised by changes being implemented

    Rat an das Management

More transparency is needed in decision making at the manager level to bring team members on board and champion the changes made in organizational structure and strategic direction More developed training programs to bring technical knowledge across all of client success to better solve client solutions Careful monitoring and emphasis on culture that the company wants to maintain going forward to ensure that... there is consistency across all teams
