    Keine Meinung zum Geschäftsführer

Ich arbeite seit mehr als 20 Jahren bei Bank of Ireland (Vollzeit)

    Pros

Average salary however education paid for (relevant education) , good illness benefit and supports.

    Kontras

Bullying. Rampant within staff as management incapable and not trained to detect it and take action. Management bullying rampant as HR incapable of addressing it. IT systems dated, lack of staff training, impossible sales targets. Sales vs Customer needs ethos. Stress and frustration taking toll on many. Misogyny. Career opportunities are better if you are friends with manager however - people are mostly moved...

    Rat an das Management

Hire staff. TRAIN people in the basics and rubbish IT systems so they will know how to do the job before they work with customers. (new systems in progress currently) Efficiency. Include staff in talks regarding new efficiencies instead of creating "New ways to do things" then reverting back when it doesnt work out. Timing every minute of every day and having to log every single item of work (how many letters did...

Ich arbeite seit mehr als 4 Jahren bei Bank of Ireland (Vollzeit)

    Pros

Some good down to earth management at branch level. Nice and helpful colleagues. Good start if you want career in financial services but get out as soon as you get QFA d

    Kontras

Senior management and execs are so out of touch with reality. They constantly emphasise a customer centric culture and that they value staff but couldn't be further from the truth. Their mission is to cut costs left right and centre having no consideration for staff or customers and they don't even realise that this is affecting revenue. They now have hardly no staff to serve areas and don't realise that staff are so...

    Rat an das Management

Come down to reality and have a good look at the latest open survey results. More than 80% of staff do not agree with BOIs strategy or the way they are going. Listen to your employees, listen to your customers and realise that making cuts after cuts does not lead to more revenue. Also stop constantly contradicting yourselfs by saying you value customers and staff and then do the opposite by making staff hate their roles...
