    -The actual work is interesting -Emails during the weekends are rare -Promotions can happen-but is dependent on management's mood

    -Lack of explanations/training as well as general lack of office policies and processes-constant sink/swim mentality from Day 1 -Work/life balance exists only if you're a workaholic that works 24/7 and enjoys sucking up to management -Arbitrary and inconsistent decision making by management -Flexible arrangements are given depending on favor (how much you're liked by management) -Work load is inconsistent across... employees of the same rank and doesn't allow for planning -Small team=lots of office gossip -Administrative support team has no idea what they're doing; it seems they make up policies on the spot -Only 15 days of annual leave-NO sick leave

    Pros

    Consists of people from various backgrounds. Loads of opportunities for transfer of knowledge from other employees. Opportunities for networking with employees of other branch offices and clients. Benefit of working outside of a formal office and benefits of leave which can't be found in other offices.

    Top layer management decreasing. Majority of employees are of junior level which are not equipped yet for nature of the work being done. Employees now advised to work on everything, even jobs that are not in their scope or expertise without any guidance.

    There needs to be an internal restructuring of the Asian based offices. Global should pay more attention as head counts aren't increasing, but work keeps on increasing which makes it almost impossible to grow the offices.

    Pros

    - Great experience & great resume addition - Creativity is encouraged, with people from all levels often solicited in brainstorms - Teamwork is a big focus, but so is independent work and you often get to “own” projects - A lot of the design work is done in-house, even video & motiongraphics - Opportunities for promotions are regular (entry-level) - High-level client portfolio means big budgets and... interesting projects

    - Large organization with all the bureaucracy that comes with it (rounds of validation, endless meetings, procedures, etc.) - A lot of overtime work & sometimes weekend work - NOT compensated - Clients tend to be large corporations with a lot of internal policies, which can delay developments & limit creative possibilities - Internal communications is not the best - a lot of rumors, last-minute departure... announcements, etc. - Very high turnover means the colleagues you work with change frequently - Low salaries for entry-level positions (can make it hard to pay the rent in big cities) - Not enough of a focus on innovation (from the technology & softwares used in the office to the solutions offered to clients)

    Pros

    This is an absolutely top-notch agency. The clients you'll be able to put on your resume are unbeatable, and as an entry level employee I gained access to projects and team members that can't be beat.

    Kontras

    It is a very hierarchal company. Junior staff is expected to do remedial and entry level work, and only that. Even if someone is ambitious, talented, and has great ideas - that's often not encouraged and in fact seen as a negative since it threatens more senior staff or is interpreted as being unreliable.

    Let rising stars rise. Holding them back and forcing junior staff to do junior level tasks when they're clearly capable of more causes your top potential to leave in search of new opportunities.
