easyJet – Warum wir?

We’re here to win, to deliver for the customer, not to be bureaucratic. We’re professionals who take pride in a good job. Everyone can make the difference for customers. That means working in Orange time – and developing in Orange time. One year here is worth two or three years somewhere else.

We pull together to get the job done. No one is more important than anyone else. We are approachable. We muck in. We take the time to help each other out. We succeed as a team

But for us, it’s about so much more than the numbers. In fact, if there’s one thing that sets us apart, it’s our people. Every one of them. Our pilots and cabin crew. Our engineers and central support teams. They’re the ones who make us the huge success story we are today.

Our approach- We want to attract, retain and develop the right people as they are fundamental to our success. We seek to treat all employees fairly, uphold their rights and reward them competitively.

Our approach is to ensure that working for easyJet is an attractive option for local workers. This also helps to build and maintain our good relationships with local stakeholders.

Employee engagement- We maintain regular communications with our employees and encourage them to share feedback using our engagement platform Peakon. In our 2019 financial year our overall employee engagement score was 7.9 out of 10. This is based on asking employees the question “How likely is it you would recommend easyJet as a place to work?” We’re proud to say our engagement score is above the majority of companies who use Peakon.

Wellbeing- We are committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of our employees. An important aspect of this, is the wellbeing of our pilots and cabin crew. We carry out analysis of the working environment, ways of working, and the experience of crew during their rostered duties, as well as how operational disruption affects the lives of our crew and other employees.

Our people managers have also started to receive mental health awareness training and in September 2019 over 75% of our front-line people managers, including those who manage cabin crew and pilots, had received this training.

At the start of 2020 we also signed the Time to Change Pledge, created by the UK mental health charities MIND and Rethink Mental Illness. By signing the pledge, we are making a commitment to change this by having the conversation around mental health and making sure that those suffering feel included and know where to go for help and support.

Diversity and Inclusion- We are committed to being an equal opportunities employer as we wish to encourage all our employees to make the best use of their skills and experience. Our policy aims to ensure that no job applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment. We will treat staff, potential staff and the public that we serve fairly and with dignity.

easyJet comes with a strong and distinct culture. One that we are really, proud of. We set out to do it our way, to be individual and unique rather than copy others. And we hope it shows. We have a ‘one team’ approach to delivery, whether it be on board an aircraft or in the office. It is a fast and dynamic environment where you can really make your mark. That’s easyJet. Come and shake things up! Feel our Orange Spirit!

Our Engineering & Maintenance teams work across a number of different areas and specialisms. Whatever role you choose, you’ll enjoy a career that’s stimulating, fulfilling and exciting.

You’ll join a passionate and hard-working group of people who love pulling together to solve problems, big and small. Placing safety at the heart of everything, you’ll make sure that all fleet maintenance is identified and carried out on time and to high quality standards.

Yes, there’ll be challenging short-turnarounds and plenty of technical problems to solve. But that’s what makes being part of generation easyJet so exciting. Plus, you’ll be working with the best tools and some of the newest technology in the aviation world today.

At easyJet, we’re all about opening Europe to a whole generation of travellers. Because of our extensive network, simplicity and low prices, the possibilities to get-up-and-go and experience Europe are endless.

Join our fantastic team of Captains, Co-Pilots and Trainers and you’ll take on a key leadership role and set the highest standards of professionalism in everything you do.

As a pilot with easyJet you’ll be working with a great team and will have excellent development opportunities, a variety of European bases and a safe, modern A320 fleet all at your fingertips. We enjoy bringing the latest technologies to the flight deck and we’re always open to new suggestions. Highly skilled and passionate about flying, you’ll love the fact that on average our Airbus aircraft are only six years old. And even more new aircraft will be landing shortly.

Thanks to the huge diversity of routes we fly from our various bases across Europe, you’ll also experience some of the more challenging airport destinations. And as we’re short haul, there’s lots of variety, quick turnarounds, short flights and multiple take-offs and landings in a single day but returning you home to friends and family. You’ll enjoy world-class training and being part of our supportive learning environment. Your route to command will also be faster here than at most other airlines with clear trigger points and criteria based on performance, as well as hours flown – excellent news for ambitious pilots looking to go further, faster.

Our Pilots are dedicated, enthusiastic and highly talented. And we’re extremely proud of them. So, if you share our energy, integrity and passion for flying, take your career places and play a lead role as part of our professional and successful flight operations team.

As part of our Cabin Crew team, you’ll never be short of new experiences. As the face of easyJet, our Cabin Crew create amazing experiences on every flight.

Our ‘Orange Spirit’ is what makes us unique, and a great airline to fly with and work for. Our collective passion, energy and spirit of adventure will inspire you, motivate you and make sure you always enjoy coming to work. You’ll work with some great people in a fun environment and receive world-class training. You’ll have a fantastic opportunity to drive your own development, all while sharing in our amazing success. You’ll enjoy real variety too, as no two days are the same with different teams, new customers or fresh destinations to look forward to. It really is a career like no other. Join us and watch your career take off.
