The city of Berlin is currently home to a rich community of tech people and a thriving start-up scene. As a start-up success story, dunnhumby Germany (formerly Sociomantic) shares many of the same values that has seen Berlin grow as a tech playground over the years.

In 2009 Sociomantic, the programmatic advertising center of our company, opened in Berlin, with the ambitious goal to make display advertising intelligent, easy and effective for online marketing experts.

Five years - and millions of personalised ads and digital later - dunnhumby acquired Sociomantic and combined the innovative digital technology with our unparalleled knowledge of nearly one billion customers. The approach of online customer loyalty through private label brands has thus been completely revolutionised

Currently representing over 25 nationalities, the Berlin R&D department holds knowledge from all over the world. We actively participate with the community here in Berlin through meet-ups and to the rest of the world with our open-source contributions.

    Lots of opportunities to do a whole range work. One can grow with the company and the ladder to the top is open to all with no ceiling for women.

    Ich habe mich online beworben. Der Vorgang dauerte mehr als 4 Wochen. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im Mai 2020 bei dunnhumby (Berlin).


    Shared the resume through LinkedIn portal, received response that they liked my profile, asked me to give online exam, it went well. Then recruiter called with typical questions about salary visa etc. It was ok. Then scheduled another technical round with their manager, it went well. Asked me some mathematical questions as well. He tried negotiate on salary side. It was weird and tried to ballpark lower salary. And told me recuriter will get back to next round. And then ghosting happened. They were unprofessional and I will not recommend anyone. If someone spends significant time to go through your interviews and online test. Atleast have little courtesy to tell that you are not selected for next round.
