Ich habe in Teilzeit bei US Secret Service gearbeitet (Über 3 Jahre)
I was an intern at a University in the Southern part of the United States and had the opportunity to work as a "Stay-in-School Clerk". I processed counterfeit currency from local banks, processed all incoming and outgoing mail, transcribed Agent's interviews from Angola Prison where inmates had threatened the President's life, and other office duties. I highly recommend this job to college students. It was a life changing experience for me and some of the Agents are still my closest friends today.
When I finished my program I was offered a job as an agent but unfortunately I did not feel I was capable of taking an oath of "taking a bullet" for any President that may be elected to office.
Rat an das Management
The U.S. Secret Service has a very Military feel to it. I personally liked working in that environment because I like structure but I can see where it could bother some people. My advice to Management is keep up the good work!
Ich habe mich online beworben. Der Vorgang dauerte mehr als 12 Monate. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im Juni 2013 bei US Secret Service (Columbia, SC (Vereinigte Staaten von Amerika)).
There are multiple interviews: individual with a RAIC/ATSAIC, panel interview, a comprehensive and challenging written test, one or two polygraph exams, a fitness test, a full physical, a home interview, background investigation and of course an application that is extensive. No leaf is left unturned and integrity is essential throughout the process.
