    Soft skills:
    Employees of Personio make you feel very comfortable during the interview process. They seem to be very engaged in talking to you and in learning more about you.
    You will get a very positive experience during the process.

    Coding task:
    They ask you to do homework that should take not more than ~4 hours. In reality, it will take a lot more for most candidates. They are looking for dedication, meaning that they do not accept not finished projects. The code should be production-ready, you should take it very seriously.
    Test coverage - during the review process, there will be a dedicated SE that will do his best to find a test case that is not covered by your code. I believe this plays a vital role in their overall decision.

    My impression:
    They have a concrete picture in mind about a candidate and they are looking for a perfect match. The issue is that they do not share this picture with you. They will not tell you about their code conventions, their expectations and etc., it is about guessing.
