    Bewerbung

The interview process started out on a positive note, I had an easy-going phone screen with an HR representative in which I felt good about. About a month later (due to an already planned move to NYC), I had my first in-office interview. The original interview was cancelled the day before and rescheduled for a couple of days later due to some weather complications in NYC at the beginning of January. When the first interview happened, I felt like it was overall a good experience. I met with two planning managers who spoke about their respective teams and asked what kind of opportunities I was interested in for my next career. I had one case-study, specific to the role I applied for. I was then asked back for a second-round, the following week. During this interview I met with three people, two planning team members and a buyer (whom the planners work closely with). These interviews were focused a great deal on "why One Kings Lane?" and also questions on prioritization and specifics to the planning role (including another case-study). I also got a tour around the office. They give the generic "you'll hear back in one week" but after more than two weeks someone reached out indicating that they'd like me to come into the office for one more round of interviews. This interview was with two even higher-up individuals on the planning side. These were more targeted about what work I did in the past would be applicable to the role at One Kings Lane and where I wanted my career to go. As I left I was told that I would hear from someone by the end of the day or in the very most, by the end of the week. Unfortunately, I did not hear anything for a few weeks. At this time I reached out to the person who helped schedule my interviews. After a week of no response, I reached out to another HR representative who I spoke with first. I never received any response from this individual either and after almost 6 or 8 weeks of not hearing anything from anyone, I decided to check Jobvite on a whim, in which my status was changed from "In Process" to "Not Selected." By the end of the process, I got the vibe I was not a fit for the role, but after being brought in to the office on three separate occasions it would have been nice to have received any sort of email indicating that information.
