Ich habe in Teilzeit bei Internet Brands gearbeitet

    Pros

Get a wide variety of experiences doing different types of tasks

    Kontras

The company does not care one bit about employees and employees do not care about the company's future. Always understaffed and employees do multiple jobs (to the point of absurdity,) sometimes not even what they were hired to do. Employees don't want to be there and are sour, negative. Pay is the bare minimum. The future of the company is questionable as there the brain is not communicating with the hands of the company to see what actually needs to be done.

    Rat an das Management

Start caring a bit more about your employees and the future of the company. This mostly goes for the higher up people, but the overall attitude is negative.

    Vorstellungsgespräch

    1. A recruiter reached out for a phone screen (30 min.)
    2. Phone interview with Sr. Director of Product (30 min.)
    3. Second phone interview with Sr. Director of Product (30 min.)
    4. Case study assignment (spent 1 hour doing and sent back to IB)
    5. Scheduled 1-hour interview with Chief Product Officer
    6. A day before a scheduled meeting with CPO, recruiter calls to go over some pre-call logistics and things to look out for. Everything looking good.
    7. 1 hour before the scheduled meeting, get a call from the recruiter that there was a time conflict. OK, that's weird, but let's reschedule.
    8. Do not hear back from the recruiter for a day, sent an email to follow up on the rescheduling.
    9. Two days later, the recruiter calls to say they've made changes to the job description and role and will not continue with me. Huh?

Talk about a waste of time. A lot of people are saying IB use interviewers to do their "case study" to help them gain ideas and insights about their own products.
